The summer growing season is in full swing. Harvesting zukes, tomatoes, peppers and still some lettuce. Did I mention the broccoli? Huge heads. We have had a lot of rain and hot days. The flowers are perfect right now. No deer or elk have visited, just a few voles and believe it or not they haven’t done too much damage. The containers are flourishing. However, the nights are getting colder, so I have moved a few tomato and pepper plants into the greenhouse. I am hoping for a long autumn. Here are a few photos of the garden.
With only 2-4 inches predicted, I received 10 inches at my house at 8400 feet in Conifer, Colorado. Sometimes it seems like Denver and Conifer are worlds apart. Spring will be here soon, so we should expect some big snow storms. It is a good time to think about getting help from your local Garden Coach expert.
