- What a week! The premiere of 'Chapter One' for Jasmin Vardimon Company's JV2 and finding out we have set a New World Record with The Dance WE Made! What's next...? A name change! Introducing Casson & Friends Casson & Friends' work focusses on interaction; between members of the public, dancers and non-dancers as well as the use of technology and social media as a means of enhancing, promoting and distributing dance work. The company was created to acknowledge the value of collaboration in our creative and everyday processes. None of the work we create can be made without these collaborators, or ‘friends’ whether longstanding or fleeting. So we aim to create dance focused work through interesting dialogues with interesting people, from dancers and digital artists to musicians and members of the public. Sometimes the focus is on product, other times it is process; but the work always has passion for sharing and challenging dance. More coming very soon...

- 150 Young People + 2 Hours + Beach Huts + Rain = Dance! This was the scene today in Bournemouth at U Dance South West! Thanks to lovely Pavilion Dance for having us, to the legendary Morgan Cloud for helping out and of course the lovely dancers!

- Congratulations to Freshit recordings - the music video for "Lizacid" directed by Lexi Kiddo and featuring choreography by Tim Casson Dance will be screened in the Berlin Independent film festival this February in both the short film and music video categories! Well Done Guys!

- Tim has been dancing professionally since 2006 and works between the contemporary and commercial dance worlds.

EDUCATION
- Tim has taught and led education work on behalf of many organisations in the UK and Internationally.
He has worked extensively for Jasmin Vardimon Company, including co-founding their ‘Postgraduate Certificate in Physical Theatre for Dancers and Actors’ at Royal Holloway University and is currently Course Leader on the new JVC Certificate - 'JV2'.
Tim is currently touring the UK leading the Audition/Experience Days for the upcoming National Youth Dance Company supported by Sadler's Wells and for which Vardimon is the Guest Artistic Director.
As an Independent Dance Artist Tim has delivered education for many organisations across the UK and Internationally, including;

Tim's flagship choreographic project is The Dance WE Made, an interactive pop-up performance that allows the general public to choreograph on Tim. You can find out more and watch the videos here.In 2012 Tim was made a 'Catalyst Artist' at DanceDigital to create his first solo performance, Fiend. The project is a collaboration with Digital Artist Tom Butterworth and uses real-time video manipulation to challenge the audience's perception of the performer.
