some truth for you! on thursday, August 30th at 8pm, inside the mythical Stage 773 on belmont ave, we will be doing something we've never done before: trying out new material from our upcoming fall/winter run. rest assured, it's not that we don't think we're on the right track or that our comedy isn't a priori hilarious. because we do. it's that we were offered a spot to open up for a great show and we thought they could use the helping hands of our brand of amazing comedic works.
as the first weekend came to a close, the media has weighed in and we have been judged! we performed to unexpectedly sold out capacity audience and had an amazing time! apparently, so did others.
time out "[they] execute scenes with razor-sharp precision and endless physicality." #highfive! the gapers block "tightly-choreographed use of sound and lighting gave their performance an almost cinematic feel". #highfive!
so if you got sold out this past week, come see our last performance this saturday 1/14 at 6pm. tickets and more information can be found at chicagosketchfest.com
bonus for you: check out us talking to time out chicago about us. :)
freshly back from a west coast tour, we are proud to present our home town, and the festival that spawned us, with COLLECTION. this retrospective is a self described greatest hits and contains all our classic sketches, selected from our vast catalog. it's all the scenes you grew up loving, the word play scenes you quote with all your friends, the physical juggernauts you try to parody on youtube videos, and the absurd scenes that give you the strangest dreams you've ever had. all your favorite sketches presented in one delicious performance cookie.
it promises to be weird and purposely pretentious. please, join us for the absurdity and the attempts at the avant garde.
"This year's festival features 162 performances by more than 138 local, national and international sketch comedy groups. This year's festival marks our 11th year and promises to bring even more laughs than ever before. - Come play with us."
tim&micah project: COLLECTION dear chris, i just saw this show. i think it was sketch comedy? it was a surprising, yet hilarious, manipulation of my emotions and perceptions. if i were a reviewer i'd probably say, "fascinating, and needless to say, very funny...will leave you asking yourself what exactly happened."-(NYtheatre) or "It's a nice change of pace when sketch comedians actually treat their audience members like smart human beings."-(Chicago Tribune) go see it!
the tim&micah project will be making their LA debut at the iO West!
our shows have been described as "unbridled comic genius", "like 2 guys from M.I.T.", "a David Lynch Fantasy", and "worth seeking out" by the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, and the Chicago Reader.
we describe it as "purposefully pretentious" sketch comedy, painstakingly constructed to provide the audience with the highest caliber of thought-provoking comedic enjoyment. Recently featured in the New York International Fringe Festival, we are excited to perform in LA, continuing our on going effort to expand minds and broaden entertainment horizons.
we'll be bringing our best material from our last 4 original shows. we call this retrospective performance event COLLECTION. our self described greatest hits contains all our classic sketches, selected from our vast catalog. it's all the scenes you grew up loving, the word play scenes you quote with all your friends, the physical juggernauts you try to parody on youtube videos, and the absurd scenes that give you the strangest dreams you've ever had. all you favorite sketches presented in one delicious performance cookie.
and we'd like you to come. and your friends. and their friends. and so on, ad infinitum.

if you come see the show and reference the baby shampoo line, we will each give you a great big kiss. or one powdered donut. dealer's choice.
