The New Movement theater (Austin, New Orleans, Houston) hosts many conferences and festivals throughout the year at their spaces. we've been lucky enough to be invited to a few. the last one we did was the Hell Yes fest in New Orleans. this weekend we're performing and teaching in the Improv Wins conference in Austin.
our show, QUINARY, will make it's Texas debut tonight at 7 and we can't be more excited. if you happen to be in the area, come by!

Thank you very much for making our run of QUINARY such a great success! we were very pleased with this show and can't express enough of our gratitude to you our fans!
and, in case you want to see it again or have friends that missed it, we will be performing it one last time in chicago at the Chicago Sketch Fest in january. our show is sat 1/12 at 10pm, but the fest is jam packed with so many great groups from all over the country and world! check out www.chicagosketchfest.com for the full schedule.

These two skilled funnymen push the limits of conventional sketch comedy with this brand new show. Will QUINARY be as daring as their previous revues? As dangerous? As flame retardant? As jocular? the tim&micah project
Tim Soszko and Micah Philbrook have worked side by side improvising, writing, and teaching for many years and at many different places, as well as helping produce the last 7 years of the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival. Out of their desire to bring innovative and distinct work to the sketch comedy scene, they created the tim&micah project. Time Out Chicago describes their work as "a web of scenes straight out of a David Lynch fantasy...you'll certainly be mesmerized", and remarks that "this oddball, turtleneck-wearing duo stands out." The Chicago Tribune describes Tim and Micah as "deadpan artists toying with perceptions of reality." The Bastion praises them as "an avant-garde style show...black turtlenecks and fresh ideas." Tim Soszko
Tim Soszko is thrilled to be one of the few people chosen by Tim and Micah to be in the tim&micah project. He also writes and performs with The Cupid Players, Bri-Ko, and The Deltones. Tim teaches all sorts of theatre classes with Second City, Barrel Of Monkeys, IO Chicago, Emerald City Theatre Co., Elmhurst Children's Theater, and Columbia College to name a few. He is also attempting to make millions of dollars as a voiceover artist. He has yet to reach his goal. timsoszko.com
Micah Philbrook
Micah Philbrook could not be happier to be the "other half" of the tim&micah project, his first love in the world of sketch comedy. Normally, Micah is performing, learning, teaching and living improv theater as much as he can. He can be seen performing weekly with pH Productions, where he is an artistic director. Micah also teaches at the Second City Training Center, pH Productions, and wherever people are willing to learn. Most importantly, Micah loves the art of improv. micahphilbrook.com
Martin and Williams
Martin and Williams have been the premier sketch comedy troupe in Toronto for the past 12 years. With a delightful mixture of wacky and zany scenes as well as thought provoking political/social satire, you'll be rolling in the aisles. These guys don't pull any punches. You'll leave the theatre thinking,"I can't believe they said that." followed by, "But I'm so glad they did!" Donny's Skybox Theatre
Named for the late Don DePollo, one of the Second City Training Center's most well-respected and influential teachers, Donny's Skybox Theatre is a cabaret theater located on the fourth floor of Piper's Alley in Chicago. It is used as a classroom for The Second City Training Center most days and weeknights, and a performance venue Thursday through Sunday nights. Donny's Skybox Theatre is dedicated to presenting productions that are rooted in the crafts of theatrical improvisation and sketch comedy as taught by The Second City Training Center. Alumni, faculty, students, and other members of the extended Second City family unite to develop new voices and points-of-view in a manner that honors the history of the work and seeks to propel it into the future. some truth for you!
on thursday, August 30th at 8pm, inside the mythical Stage 773 on belmont ave, we will be doing something we've never done before: trying out new material from our upcoming fall/winter run. rest assured, it's not that we don't think we're on the right track or that our comedy isn't a priori hilarious. because we do.
it's that we were offered a spot to open up for a great show and we thought they could use the helping hands of our brand of amazing comedic works.

as the first weekend came to a close, the media has weighed in and we have been judged!
we performed to unexpectedly sold out capacity audience and had an amazing time!
apparently, so did others.

our shows have been described as "unbridled comic genius", "like 2 guys from M.I.T.", "a David Lynch Fantasy", and "worth seeking out" by the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, and the Chicago Reader.
we describe it as "purposefully pretentious" sketch comedy, painstakingly constructed to provide the audience with the highest caliber of thought-provoking comedic enjoyment. Recently featured in the New York International Fringe Festival, we are excited to perform in LA, continuing our on going effort to expand minds and broaden entertainment horizons.
