Objective is to create vibrant, profitable engaged collaborative communities for brands and their B2C and B2B social consumers shaped by innovative and profitable brand interaction. My work is based on strong, collaborative executive partnerships and strategic thought leadership, expertise, innovation, risk-taking, and instinct. I’m passionate about building efficient cross-functional teams that tackle new challenges in inventive ways.
I have over 18 years experience building digital brands with a focus on the social web. I’ve developed and implemented global social media strategies, built engaged and profitable communities of fans and brand ambassadors. I have directed the work of PR and social media agencies, built content teams, led launches. In my entrepreneurial experience, I was on the founding team of three at carespace.com in 2007.
My other interests include user interface design especially as it relates to implementation of social plug-ins and the seamless movement of visitors/customers from the open web to the social web. In addition to my full-time work, I am an Adjunct Instructor, teaching the Advanced Seminar in Emerging Media: Social Media Management at the New York University M.A. Program in Graphic Communications and Technology.
I've educated internal teams on social media best practices as well as new emerging platforms and how to make best use of them. I built a social CRM team of web monitors and responders that handled customer response far more effectively and efficiently than traditional response mechanisms such as email and phone.
On the ePR side - I have implemented the use of social web monitoring and listening tools like Sysomos, Radian6 , Hootsuite, and others to analyze online conversations and create response strategies.
