OK, HSBC, it's time to bring your website into the modern era.

  1. it takes FOREVER to simply get into my account, with so many odd hurdles and redirects.
  2. this screenshot is at 100% zoom. wow, optimized for dinosaur screen resolutions

It's not rocket surgery, just let you templates be a bit more flexible! Oh, and where is your mobile app? Heard about that fad?

    Rough recoding of our rehearsal last night

    Dana and I are starting to rehearse a set of tunes to perform live this summer. This one is a favorite of ours.

    Nyack, get with the program. Unacceptable.

    I love my town. Great people. Great cultural diversity. But for some reason for a progressive town we are far behind in our environmental stewardship. This is a common scene on every downtown street. Bottles, cans and cardboard mixed in with actual trash, crammed into the few trash bins scattered around town. What is going on here? I am ashamed. Someone is asleep at the wheel on the local government, but what's worse, I suspect that many of Nyack's citizens are also asleep at the wheel.

    Interesting design choice

    At first glance, what would you think this document is? Perhaps a party invitation or maybe a flyer for some event. I found this slipped under our car windshield wiper in Tel Aviv. It sort of took the sting out of getting a 100 shekel parking ticket! Well done whomever art directed this one. Way to turn a negative experience into a slightly better one.

    What were they thinking?

    We went to visit my wife's grandfather at the senior living facility in which he now lives and was struck by this utterly despondent French mime painting. Who thought this was a good choice for a place like that? I felt like offing myself when it sucked me into its melancholy vortex!

    Talk about bad experience design!
