About Me
- A little bit about what I do..Thanks for stopping by! I'm a post production sound mixer based in Chicago. I work for ARU, who are a great bunch of audio and video people. You'd like 'em. I come from England, and although my accent is slipping a little, I still regularly eat Branston Pickle.
I specialize in audio post for radio and TV commercials, promos, industrials, and online media. I'm also a composer (and occasional instrumentalist): some very nice people have included my music in their spots. I'm big on orchestral sounds, metal and various flavors of electronica (sometimes together).
The tech stuff: I'm an experienced Pro Tools operator and a Nuendo aficionado, with expertise in mixing commercials for radio and TV. I can record a mean voice over (you've probably heard some of that on various national TV networks). I like to mix in 5.1 surround, as well as some more esoteric sound spatialization formats.
I'm active in the independent film community here in Chicago, and I've mixed a bunch of indie features and shorts. Looking for some great ADR work on an independent budget? Surround sound mixing? I might be your guy.
