This month’s ArtBites @ RAM event features live DJ sets by local artist Dan “Demon Slayer” Nguyen (http://dan-nguyen.com/) and, in correlation with RAM’s current Pop Surrealist exhibition, California Kustom Presented by Baby Tattooville, the Riverside-based creative collective Tentu (http://tentu.org/) will be hosting a “Pop Surrealist Mushroom” art activity and Bob Self, the publisher of Baby Tattoo books (http://www.riversideartmuseum.org/current-exhibitions/california-kustom-presented-by-baby-tattooville/), will discuss the art on display in the exhibit.

We’ll be providing y’all with some arts and crafts at the Leimert Park Art Walk in Los Angeles this Sunday, September 26th from 2PM-8PM. It happens on the last Sunday of the month, so expect us to be there again and again! <3

We’re going to be collaborating with the Coachella Valley Art Studios to host the NOCTURNAL BOUTIQUE at the annual Nocturnal Festival taking place this Saturday, September 25th at the NOS Events Center @ 689 South “E” Street, San Bernadino, CA 92408. Create aroma bracelets, hats & headpieces, fans, and mustaches at the Boutique.

Come join us this Thursday for Riverside’s September Arts Walk … ALL FOR FREE! We’re here again to give you another opportunity to CREATE!

We’ll be joining ArtBites at RAM to provide you with some hands-on felt crafting with all materials and supplies provided and ready for you to craft and create. Cut up felt to make pouches, plushies, brooches, hats, masks, earrings, bracelets, gloves, geometric shapes, and anything you can image!

We’ll be crafting within Italian Artist Marco Casentini’s All Around exhibition and along with the La Sierra University opera singers’ lovely voices.

The To-Do Benefit Show is tonight at Back to the Grind! Show begins at 8PM. We will be there for the event decoration. Come stop by for a drink, enjoy the music, and buy some artwork that have been donated towards the benefit!

Free For All Festival going down right now! Come make paper bag mushrooms with us!

Free For All Festival is going down tomorrow for free! We’ll be crafting it up with Coachella Art Studios again, but this time, we’ll be in Los Angeles at the Echoplex! Doors open at 3PM and goes on until midnight. Come make felt things, paper bag mushrooms, and draw stranger portraits with us. Did we mention that it’s FREE? Yeah!

WickerBasket Pop-Up Shop

Here’s a quick overview of the WickerBasket Pop-Up Shop that we participated in on July 30th and 31st, 2010. We made all sorts of things like bookmarks, pouches, camera cases, bags, prints, rings, mini-notebooks, and more to put up for sale at this temporary retail shop. Other participants offered vintage clothes, stuffed dolls, jewelry, notebooks made by recycled material, shoes, and so much more. Lee Tusman had a dressing room installation that was AMAZING too!
