Tania Vantuil
Instructor: Lil Leopards & Advanced Black Dragons
Formally known as Sifu Wilson, I am going to make a transition to the above name. Whee Haa.
I started Kung Fu in March of 2003. It started simply as self defense, but it very quickly just became a way of life.
Kung Fu has made me a better mother, and has me always striving to be a better person. Many people have inspired me in the martial arts, and they continue to do so.
All of my instructors and fellow students as an extended family has given me a gift beyond words. Silent River Kung Fu is my home away from home, a place where I can just relax and push myself. The atmosphere is encouraging, and there is no other place I would rather be.
Kung Fu has given me a way to deal with stress, as well as a way to make a difference in the world. The opportunity to teach came as a surprise, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else.
I started teaching kids in 2007, and I continue to get a lot of joy from them. They challenge me, keep me grounded, and watching them grow as individuals and martial artists is a gift I cherish every day.
I hope to continue my martial arts training for the rest of my life, and to continue to pass on the art of Kung Fu. I have been blessed with the opportunities I have been given, and I will never take them for granted.
