Solvate's platform helps freelancers find work and build new client relationships, stress-free. I worked to engage, scale, educate, and match members of our freelance community with client projects. I also helped to develop and hone our freelancer-facing voice, brand, and messaging.
Developed taglines and marketing campaigns; owned the blog and social channels, sourced and edited guest posts; wrote website, email, marketing, collateral, and FAQ copy; analyzed funnel metrics and delivered product feedback; worked with freelancers to produce videos and marketing collateral; drove freelance community engagement through online and in-person community management; produced and publicized major events with partners; booked speakers and produced educational webinars for our freelance community; sourced and executed sponsorship and partnership arrangements; represented Solvate at meetups and events; recruited, vetted, oriented, and matched freelancers to client projects; used Salesforce, Solr, and Linkedin Recruiter daily
I was a team point-person for producing and publicizing events, including the IgniteNYC Holiday Party, the BackSpin 2011 TechiesGiveBack tournament, and the 2011 Webutante Ball. I also played a lead role in Solvate's 2011 SXSW presence (including our trade show booth, collateral, and event sponsorships), which resulted in record-breaking talent and client lead generation.
