Just because something isn't practical,
Doesn't mean it's not worth creating.
Sometimes beauty and real-life magic are enough.
But then I wanted more time so we could fall in love. I got my wish, I suppose. I left my scar. […] What else? She is so beautiful. You don’t get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her, Van Houten. You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.

Seismic sense: Through learning this skill, earthbenders can detect vibrations in the ground to perceive objects, people, and other aspects of their environment, essentially acting as sonar but through the ground.
The only thing that bending has brought to the world is suffering. It has been the cause of every war of every era, but that is about to change. My followers and I will not rest until the entire city achieves equality and once that goal is achieved, we will equalize the rest of the world. The revolution has begun.

I'm a sucker for post-apocalypse shows. And it's JJ Abrams so pretty excited for this one...

That season finale was INSANE! Of course nothing on this show is as it seems, so I'm definitely curious to see the aftermath of tonight's 'events' play out in season two. It is the fall yet!?
John Mayer and Jimmy Fallon, does it get any better than that?

Ugh I love Meg's books sfm, but Honestly? This one? It was just okay for me. The pacing is a little slow and the reveals are pretty much anti-climatic. It's the ending that ultimately sucked me into this series. Which is the only reason I'm reading book two (and I'm borrowing the book, I didn't even buy it lol) I'd say read it when you've got nothing else you're dying to read. It'll pass the time. lol
