The day falls asleep as the night awakes. The night owl rises whilst the early bird drifts into the land of slumber. The sky subtly drenches itself in a navy blue blanket. Stars — wink and blink. The nocturnal creatures lurking in the shadows, step to the fore. The full moon gleams wearing a vicious smile.
I’ll wait for you
As the summer swings by
The rain rambles on
The winter whistles bye.
So wait for me too, love.
Till the end I’ll pursue.
Only you.
Just for you.
I’ll be content with our memories.
I’ll reminisce.
I’ll find you, I’ll meet you.
One day, that day.
I’ll swoosh towards you.
Start to fade away.
In your arms.
With you.
Only you.
Oh she was – beauteous.
Lifting her legs, elegantly.
Her cerulean eyes,
Gazed right through me.
Like staring at an ocean, mesmerized.
Not a care in the world, she walked away.
I stood up – followed her.
Nowhere near the vicinity,
Hope astray.
I found a bell and a name.

On a treadmill is my inquietude,
Euphoria of liberty — I crave.
Pondering, dreaming, procrastinating.
Besides that, nix!
Waiting for this nightmare to end.
All I do is
Stare out of the window
Into the Alice blue sky
Contemplating about my substantial existence.
How could I leave you all alone?
A callous child I am.
Those days,
On the mountaintop,
The acme of bliss.
Merry smiles, pleasant surprises.
The innocence of youth.
Lost in the midst of times,
Will you come back to me, please?
