Christmas 2011
Ordered Laos food for dinner with my boyfriend, his cousins and their girlfriends on Christmas Eve. Forgot to take photos of the food because I was too hungry, hehe. Oh, and his cousin owns this massive German Shephard which can barely walk cos it's too fat. Adorablez.

I wasn't expecting any gifts from anyone, besides Adam, so I felt really bad when his cousin and his girlfriend got me something cos I didn't get them anything. Definitely going to get everyone a present next year!

While they all headed to the city for karaoke afterwards, I went to Gerry's place to spend the last remaining hours of Christmas Eve with the girls.


Using the facial masks Jen got us from Japan. We are monsters.


Got hungry, so we went to Diem Hen at Canley Heights at 1am.
It was really yummy and cheap!


Drove to McDonald's for ice cream on a lid (basically a sundae), where we got crappy service, then went back to Gerry's. Chit chatted 'til the sun rose, ate cereal, created Mii characters of our friends on my 3DS and I woke up at 5.30pm, where I ate some of Gerry's mom's tasty food. Yerps, what a Christmassy Christmas I had.

So Melissa from MissMakeupLover1 had held a Christmas giveaway to celebrate her achievement of 100 followers! To my absolute astonishment, I won! This is the first time I've ever won something and I've entered a ridiculous number of competitions/giveaways over my lifetime LOL. Not only that, this giveaway was totally amazeballs!






The prizes included a pair of pink Tweezerman Tweezers, 2 OPI Shatter nail polishes in White and Red, and 1 MAC blush and lipstick of my choice each!



I've been wanting a pair for so long! I plucked some hair from my brows right after I ripped it out of the package, and it is dead set the best pair of tweezers I've laid my hands on.

Goodies from Japan!
My lovely friend, Jennifer, recently came back from 10-day trip in Japan and got all her friends a lot of stuff, and I mean A LOT. I was only expecting to get one thing and some candy, but this girl is too darn generous!

So my sister and I took advantage of Cotton On's 30% off online sale, which actually ends at midnight today!



Her cat allergies were acting up since last night from
playing with our friend's cat too much -_-.


I only got a few things:


Have been contemplating on getting JC's Mariel for the longest time, but I
wasn't sure if it'd be worth it. But these were only $28, so I had to get them!

Update 2.0
I've been naughty and neglecting my poor blog for too long. I applaud anyone who studies or works and manages to have the energy and time to blog regularly. I mean, I've even stopped checking my daily reads, and that use to be my life.

So I decided to blog instantly once I had the itch to blog again, otherwise you would not be reading this post for another 5 months.

Well, I've completed my first year of university 3 weeks ago and am currently enjoying being able to be a lazy slob without feeling guilty.

Here's a run down of what my break has consisted of:
  • Discovered Hungry Jack's Spicy Sauce - better than McD's Big Mac Sauce
  • Been heading to bed at 4-6AM everyday
  • Attended the KPOP Music Festival - still in complete shock
  • Finished watching The O.C
  • Started watching Seinfeld
  • Started watching That '70s Show
  • Started and finished watching Arrested Development - this show is too great to have been cancelled. So glad there's going to be a 4th season and a movie!
  • The hospital tops my list of 'Most Hated Places to Be'
  • Used facial masks for the first time with the girls
  • Scored my first real job for the holidays
  • Built my 100th floor on Tiny Towers
  • Made a terrible sandwich
  • Got into Neopets again - feel free to add me as a neofriend: sophiepophiex

Yup, you can tell my holidays have been quite eventful. Waiting for my friends to finish their exams so we can get the party started *insert big woot*.

And here's my to-do list for the holidays:
  • Read a ton of books - my shopping cart for Book Depository is ready to go
  • Attend the Harry Potter Exhibition
  • Go to the gym regularly - first and last time I went was 2 weeks ago lol
  • Buy a new phone - suggestions?
  • Learn how to drive, god dammit
  • And I almost forgot, blog more!

NYE 2010
Spent New Years Eve with beloved friends and the lover. Started off with eating lunch local then trained it to the city to watch the 9PM fireworks which was surprisingly fun compared to last year's experience (horrible). Went back to a friend's to watch the 12 o'clock fireworks on TV, at the same time stuffing our faces with McDonald's then drank away to a brand new year while playing blackjack.

were at this location. And there are a gazillion other spots.

2010 wasn't that great of a year for me, probably because of the HSC. But on the other hand, I've finally finished high school and it has allowed me to get closer to the people I now adore which makes me that much more excited to what 2011 will bring.

New Year Resolutions: Find a job, gain weight, get fit, learn how to save $$$, start reading again, study hard for uni (if I make it in), spend more time at home.

I tend to push the bad things aside and let them unravel when the time comes. Doesn't necessarily mean I'm in denial though. I just don't like to think about the bad things. But I guess that makes me weak.

I'm scared because I don't know how I can handle this situation.
I feel helpless because I don't know how to fix it.
And I'm sad knowing that's how it is...

And ya know, this could all have been prevented. But it's too late now. No point dwelling in the past.

Regrets keep you silly, as my sis says.

I do my own and his mom does his.

He hasn't heard me sing before, but his singing is pretty terrible.

I am academically, but he is in that 'big bad world' field.

My dad does mine and his mother and I do his. Doesn't make sense.

We're always swapping which ends of the bed to sleep on because of tv/movies etc. but I'm always on the inside.

Parents pay ours. But he pays his own phone bill.

We both live in houses where there's no lawn to mow. Thank god for that.

My dad cooks for me and his mom cooks for him. The only thing we know how to cook is rice and eggs, but who doesn't know how to do that?!

Hopefully him very, very soon. I'm still on my learners with zero hours and he's failed his red P's 3 times already :'(.

He is. I give in too easily lol.

I am. Because I've done a lot more stupid stuff than him.

His, for sure. He's had too many bad experiences with my dad LOL.

Well, we hang with the same people since I went to the same school. But considering how many schools I've went to, I'd say me.

I do. I have 2 sisters and 1 lil half brother. He's an only child.

Was it love at first sight?
Hellll no. We've attended the same school for 3 years and we were barely friends then. It was only after I moved schools did we start talking. The irony.

I literally only had 45 minutes to get ready because I had to go out for last minute formal stuff, which I didn't even end up using, and my dad made me eat before I could do anything.

I bought hair extensions but it looked so unnatural in my hair 'cos I didn't have any layers so then I tried curling my hair but that failed. So I just ended up with straight, boring hair :'(

Formal wasn't as great as I expected. It was pretty boring during the first few hours with just the food getting out and the music started in the last hour, and 1 hour's not near enough.

But besides that, the place was gorgeous and everyone looked so amazing! Seriously, I think everyone should've gotten a Best Dressed award.

Overall, I wouldn't mind having another formal :D.

So, me and 10 friends decided to take a road trip down to Port Stephens from the 4th-7th for our friend's 19th birthday.

I wasn't going to go because of HSC and all... but what the heck. How could I pass something like this up?!

We were supposed to go whale watching on the last day but everyone just wanted to go home.

I think the trip would've been more eventful if we actually planned what we were going to do each day because we woke up late and just did the same thing each day - pig out, beach, fishing, poker, drink, sleep.

Sarah and I were the only ones cleaning most of the time. I swear, these boys were absolute pigs! The shower, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were in use 80% of the time, I bet the electricity bill was massive lol.

I brought my notes with me but I didn't get any studying done at all. But I guess that's no surprise.

Overall, it was pretty great. Hopefully, I'll go to another trip soon, but this time by plane lol.

Very, very, very late update.
I've abandoned this blog for way too long.
I just don't have my heart in it anymore.
But people have been wanting an update, so here it is!

Year 12 is taking its toll on me as you can tell from my previous posts lol.
My last ever assessments in high school were last week so now everyone's focusing on trials, which are in 2 weeks.
I failed my last maths exam so I'm relying on trials and HSC to regain my 'ok' mark.
Even if I only just pass, it's still good enough for me!
Failing in a subject is just a no-no.

I don't get why I'm doing so bad in maths.
I've chosen the worse year to fail!!!!
It's too hard, with it's stupid equations and graphs and numbers that don't make sense :'(
And you can't really study, ya know? You just have to be naturally smart.
I can't believe I use to do 3unit as well.
it's funny cos I did better when I did 3unit -___-.
The point is, I HATE MATHS.

I'm suppose to be working on my Society and Culture major (PIP) right now but mehh.
It's not due 'til next month, but we're expected to hand in the finished product tomorrow so my teacher can check it over and fix anything that needs to be fixed.
I'm not NEARLY finished yet, yet alone, started writing anything!
Do you think I can finished a 6000 word project by tomorrow?!
But my friend hasn't even chosen a topic yet (CRAZY), so that slightly makes me feel better lol.

Anyway, getting hungry, so I'll end this post here.

Fast internet
Hello.

I haven't been blogging as much as I'd like to, I know. And I haven't been checking up on the blogs I follow either.

Even though it's holidays now, I've been busy. Well, I really haven't been doing much but I still feel busy for some reason. Maybe cos I know I have a heap of things to do before school starts.

I've been staying at my boyfriend's since the holidays but his internet is currently capped and it doesn't get uncapped 'til AFTER holidays which means no blog checking or tumblr-ing for me :(. Which means I had to resort to my DS but that was soon out of battery after a day and I left my DS charger at home. So now I'm catching up on two chapters of maths, ugh.

As for my boyfriend, all he does is play games all day. He wakes up much earlier than me just to play and he stays up much later than me just to play. I tell him he really needs to do something with his life but he doesn't care because games is his life. But ever since he got capped, he is srsly bored since he can't do much.

So I realised that the sole factor of our happiness is fast internet. Yeah, yeah, we have each other, but we can do so much more with fast internet D:.

It's kinda sad actually... but I guess it shows how much of an impact technology has on us.

Oh, and I've started using this new shampoo (black bottle to the right), Sunsilk Longer & Stronger, in hopes of gaining longer hair quicker. It makes my hair more softer and less oily though, I like :D.

I don't want this site to turn into one of those makeup/fashion blogs. There's too much of them and I don't want to compete with that or be compared to them.

Anyways.

I feel really sad? I'm really sick of venting about school work. But I think I'm struggling. My motivation is making it to university but it's not really working for me.

And since my friends just entered their first of uni, I'm hearing all these negative things about it, like the enormous amount of workload, the people there, the travelling. Kinda makes you lose motivation doesn't it, lol.

But I can't blame 'em.. I'll probably be complaining about it twice as much once I get in, just like how I complain about high school.

All I ever do is complain. I hate it.

Anyways, time do start on my assessment which is in less than 12 hours.

Fakes

Yes, yes, it's a fake.

I use to think fakes shouldn't be allowed to exist, not just because of unethical reasons, but also because it just disgusted me. It's a cheap replica and I just would not touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Well, it'd be okay if they didn't have the brand name on it, but that'd be called a dupe, wouldn't it?

But lately, I've been seeing everyone carrying around unauthentic pieces and they are actually happy with them.

And it made me realise - I'm only 18, I don't have a job and my only income is on $200 a fortnight (which is not enough, mind you).

And then I thought, what the heck? I'm never going to be able to save up a couple of grand 'til I'm 30. Why not just live my life as a cheap-ass of an adolescent?!

Then a $40 bag on eBay came sprawling past, and I found myself bidding frantically just to win a "cheap replica". And I won. Then I realised what I had done and I saw a welcoming bright light coming from the Road of Fakes.

But I'll probably still be self-conscious while carrying this bag around. I mean, I know everyone will be asking me, "Is that real?!" and then I'd reply with a chuckle, "No, I wish!". And we'd both laugh it off while in the back of my head, I'm thinking of burning the bag and burying myself alive.

Ahh, only time will tell.

But hey, it looks pretty good doesn't it? :D
