Brennan Green:
DJ and producer Brennan Green is associated with a number of current trends in dance music – house, disco, nu-disco, leftfield, cosmic, baleric, post punk, electrofunk etc.– but no fashion or sub-sub-genre adequately describes Green's trademark sound.
His productions on independent dance labels such as Daniel Wang's Balihu, Wurst Records and his own label, Chinatown, have an organic feel that is rare in modern dance music. Green's vinyl-only releases combine both acoustic and electronic instrumentation to unearth irresistible grooves, syncopated rhythms and hypnotic basslines. As a remixer Brennan has also found a voice all his own with popular remixes for Liquid Liquid, Lindstrom, Franz Ferdinand and DFA. Most recently his remix of Damian Lazarus' Neverending (Get Physical) was picked for Pete Tong's Essential New Tune on Radio One.
Brennan's all night long, genre-bending DJ-sets are sure to rock any dancefloor taking a crowd through sounds that span disco, house, techno, dub and rock. His New York parties Pop Your Funk (APT, 01-04) and Junky Blues (Flamingo East, 99-01) were instrumental in pioneering the current underground disco invasion and since then he has toured extensively through Japan, Australia, Europe, North/South America and Russia playing at events as diverse as NewYork's P.S.1, London's Fabric & Horse Meat Disco, Tokyo's Yellow, Sydney's Madracket and many of the world's best underground parties. He's Currently holding down a monthly residency at NYC's east village jazz outpost Nublu (04-now).
For the last year Brennan has been in the studio producing and mixing for the resurrected Arthur Russell/Loose Joints project, "Arthur's Landing" for Strut/K7 UK and will also be releasing 2 12" singles oh his own CHINATOWN imprint over the next 2 months consisting of the epitome of disco classics "Is It All Over My Face" feat. Nomi Ruiz from Hercules and Love Affair fame.
Arthur's Landing is a collection of musicians, artists and close friends of the late and great Arthur Russell covering all of Arthur's disco works. The band consists of Steven Hall, Peter Zummo, Ernie Brooks, Mustafa Ahmed, Bill Ruyle, Elodie Lauten and John Sherman. Sometimes collaborating and performing with Nomi Ruiz (Hercules and Love Affair), Larry Saltzman (Paul Simon) and Brennan Green. At some point in time they've all played and been apart of Arthur Russell's projects including Loose Joints, Dinosaur, Dinosaur L, Killer Whale and Indian Ocean.
This is them performing Live @ Diesel Planet, Brennan was playing drums but you can barely see him because the guitarist was in the shot. :)

Wie haben einige Jacken, Oberteile, Schals, Regenschirme und eine lange H&M Unterhose gefunden; mit Sicherheit können aber leider nicht alle Erwartungen erfüllt werden. Ein ganzer Ständer steht zur Schau bereit. einfach unter den Wurstdurst Offnungszeiten vorbei schauen.
