Experience: I have a wide variety of experience with OSes, networks, and programming. Programming experience includes Java, Python, BASH, SQL, as well as classes explaining low-level compilers. I have managed Linux, Unix, and Windows servers in a limited capacity and have developed test development platform of 30+ computers. I have detailed knowledge and understanding of TCP\IP protocols and have begun learning penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and design analysis for all of the above technologies and platforms.
Goals: To gain detailed knowledge and understanding of computer networking technologies and to become a leading security expert in the industry. To be able to support and lead projects and teams successfully and develop new business opportunities.
Common Criteria and FIPS Evaluations, Test Environment Development, and Vulnerability Assessment
Coordinating software and driver builds across multiple platforms and developing build automation procedures.
I tested various types of Fiber Channel Host Bus Adapters and 10 Gigabit FCoE, iSCSI, and Ethernet adapters. Created scripts using BASH and Python to automate many test cases. This job also included setting up and understanding various operating systems, server hardware, network and SAN switches.
I troubleshot university residents’ internet issues, and also help with higher-level problems such as CISCO hardware issues, and enforcement of CISCO network rules. I was also in charge of about 5 other Resident Network Consultants.
Analyzed video data for an active collision-prevention system in development. Started developing a database of metadata for terabytes of video footage.
