The Electro Couture...
The Electro Couture is best known for his plainly titled podcast: "Electro, Dance, Dubstep, House and Jesus. The Live Dj Mix", which can be found on iTunes as well as podomatic.com. The Electro Couture previously had his hands full with several residencies in Manhattan nightclubs as well as a live weekly mix show on the quickly growing St. Louis based radio station Electrolouis.com. Yet now following God's call he is living in York, England while studying the Bible and working on his next record. The Electro Couture has an eclectic musical style and has been known to play anything with enough bass or is funky enough to move the crowd. In late 2011, The Electro Couture officially launched his record label, Electro Couture Records, and is currently on the hunt for new artists! Definitely be on the look out for his increasingly popular* podcast, ever-growing remix catalog, and full length album which is currently being worked on while in the UK...

I am SUPER excited about getting accepted to Calvary Chapel Bible College in York, England!!! I will be studying the bible full time. I can't wait to make some new friends and to be able to serve God in a different environment! Who knows where God will be taking me? All I know is I have all of the things I need in order to pick up and go... So, from here on out, wherever the Lord calls me... THERE I'LL BE!

I am finally making my compiled "first attempts" at producing music available EVERYWHERE!!! I am excited that I am putting it all out there, but nervous that I will be judged! I know my selections are kind of simple, and seem to have no sense of "direction", but I think it's a step forward in my career. People will eventually get to hear the stuff I'm currently working on, and it is great stuff (check the soundcloud.com/joey-savage for updates)! For now, at least, people will only get to hear the older material! My newest music really shows off my growth as a producer. I utilize all the techniques I've taught myself and newer style in musical creativity! Thats all for now! Look me up on iTunes, or wherever you might purchase your tunes from... I just bought the domains for joeysavage, electrocouture, and electrocouturerecords.com!!! I finally took that step! Big spenda' style too! It only costs 2 dollars a year per domain! So I ended up spending six bucks. I also started my Flavors account, which is connected to this blog. So, if you are reading this, you might as well just go to www.flavors.me/savagecouture ... Thats where you can link up to ALL my available sites! I'm uber excited to get my business started. I have been crazy busy. I finally sent my album to the digital distributor, so you'll be able to find my Ep on iTunes and all the other major online stores! You all better buy it! Its a collection of my produced material over the past eight months, so there is a bit of both hip hop and electronic music. I hope you enjoy it... I do! Well, this is enough writing for now... I start this Saturday, and as of right now I'm calling it electro couture records presents Joey savage... Iam really on the fence as to what to name the show!? I'm either gonna keep it how it is, or change it to something hopefully more catchy, all the while trying not to be cheese dick... That's where you'z guys come in! Any ideas? It's Saturday's from 8-10pm!

My baby girl,
Dad thinks about you all day... Everyday. I look at pictures of our fun times together when I get sad, all the times we spent while mom was at work and it was just you and me.. I also like to think about the stuff we will do together when you grow up. Your dad will always be your dad. No matter what has happened and how far apart we are, I'm here. I can't wait to see you and give you a big huggy and kissy! I miss you so much. It's been six months already. I have never gone so long without seeing you. It makes my heart hurt, and I hurt even more because you must be confused. I tried to go away to get better, and let me and mom heal so we can all be happy. I never thought it would end up like this. I'm sorry. I promise with all my heart I will make this all up to you and one day soon this will all be a memory. Dads aren't perfect. If I could be perfect for anyone, it would be you, but I'm only human. When you grow up you will understand this much better. I never thought I would end up not being around you every night for bed time, let alone miss your first day of school. You are such a big girl! I am super proud of you! You are doing great in school, and at gymnastics. You do so well, even despite the circumstances... It's amazing how strong you are! Keep it up. Very soon you will get to see your dad. We can go for a walk and even hold hands like we always do! I miss your tiny hand in mine, and the way you look at me with that little sparkle in your eye. I can't wait to see you! Please be patient just a little longer...

The reasoning behind the song when I named it was wanting to leave or "bounce". The the emotions I tried to convey when I wrote it were disgust and anger for having to spend almost three years of my life in the horrible Southern Illinois region, but also the joy in having been around some cool people, most importantly my beautiful daughter! I met Bobby when we bumped into each other at an Az radio station. Not knowing who each other were, or caring, we started to chat about shoes, he dug my Osiris Bronx Red/Gray Editions, I dug his verse he was playing from one of his newest records... I guess we both love shoes and hip hop?! Now I got crazy respect for the cat and want to produce some electronic tracks with him, maybe show him my style of electro hop and watch him work with it'. Lets just see when we can both get our asses in a doodio at the same time?!? lol... -Joey

So I finally fell asleep last night! Yay! After another three day zero-sleep-athon. Hopefully this will not be a recurring situation as it has been. I'm trying new meds, under direction of doctors, so we shall see! So far, all they do is make me drowsy but never even touch shutting off this brain of mine! Let me tell ya'! It never wants to shut down and relax, maybe kick its feet up! Maybe its stress? Whaddayagonnado?

Only the most Couture of all artists in the music world will carry our name! People everywhere, everyday, are told that a music career is not the way to go, or the way to become a "success".
