Summary

With a degree in political science and a masters in computer-mediated communication, I specialize in the political implications of digital technologies, including: net neutrality, open data, digital campaigning, and online communities.

In 2008, while studying at the University of Michigan, I developed a profound interest in the battles for controlling the Internet. Upon returning to France, I wrote my master’s thesis at Sciences Po Aix on net neutrality. My study on net neutrality was one of the first academic studies of this topic in France.

At Celsa, my master's thesis analysed the political discourse on open data and its promises.

During the last two years, I’ve worked in a digital communication agency in Paris, La Netscouade, as a Social Media Manager.

In June 2012, my thesis project "Open data, behind the scenes: sociology of production and release of public data" was selected for a call of projects by the Mines-Telecom Foundation . At the social sciences department of Telecom ParisTech, I will draw sociological conclusions on the actor network of open data cases around the world and the relationship between stakeholders. I will also focus on the work on the data itself prior to its release. Eventually, my thesis aims at identifying the the best practices of open data use in organizations, institutions, and companies.
