visual communication student / marketing intern / content creation / design / writing
Ryder is currently the Communications Assistant at SAI Digital, a creative web development and inbound marketing startup.
Ryder got his graphic design career started in high school, as Editor-in-Chief of his yearbook. In addition to managing 53 staff members over two semesters, Ryder designed the theme, cover, and was the driving force behind every layout design and story. In the same year, Ryder had the opportunity to intern at the Downtown Development Authority of Calhoun, GA. There, he organized entertainment for a local street festival that drew record crowds, as well as designing an all new wave of advertisements with the aim of increasing downtown tourism. Since graduating high school, Ryder moved onto bigger and better things. His most recent internship was at a full service advertising agency in Rome, Georgia called Advertising Dynamics. Here, he worked with the print magazine called Enjoy! Northwest Georgia and created its social media presence and maintained its existing website.
In Fall 2011, Ryder began his studies at Berry College in the field of Visual Communications. On campus, his main position is working as the Assistant Graphics Editor for the Campus Carrier. His job at this award-winning college newspaper entails many late nights designing advertisements and graphics so that the paper remains relevant in the ever changing world of design. However, he soon rose to the Graphics Editor position, taking on even more responsibility.
During his time at the Campus Carrier, the newspaper went to the Georgia College Press Association and won 8 awards. These awards included 2nd Place in General Advertising excellence and 3rd Place in General Improvement over the 2011 calendar year.

B.D. SHIRT IN PAISLEY CHAMBRAY BY UNIVERSAL WORKS
Davis Keyte, founder of UK-based independant fashion brand Universal Works, began his career as a sign writer and painter, then worked in a coal mine before changing his path and going to work for Paul Smith for 14 years, and then ended up at streetwear label Maharishi for five years. With all of his practical knowledge and experience he decided to create his own brand and launched his first collection in 2009 and since its inception has consistantly produced street savvy pieces fit to work in. This short sleeve paisley piece is our favorite offering from the spring ‘13 collection. The print is on point and it’s 100-percent cotton chambray, so you know it’ll last forever. Check it out over HERE along with the rest of the line.
I would need this just so I could have the least amount of shit as possible in my house and it would force me to stay organized and neat because otherwise…
You are the shit. It may seem like a small gesture, but I know that myself and the rest of the LGBTQ community that see Facebook painted red for this cause well up with pride that their close friends and relatives show us that we are not alone in this fight for equality. Damn, I should write speeches.
