Spirit of the Virginia: Prologue
“Spirit of the Virginia: Prologue” is an iPad application that ties together rich storytelling, animated visuals, and user-driven interactivity to create an exciting new reading experience for young adults. The application combines high-definition video with text-based narration to create a hybrid multimedia story.
I am currently finishing work on this application for my senior project at Drexel University. I am the lead programmer on the project and created all application code using the Adobe Air for Mobile framework.
Find out more about our project here. Coming soon to the Apple App Store!
tAPP Multimedia Application
A major part of my co-op experience at ETC (Environmental Tectonics Corporation) was the development of a new multimedia presentation tool for ETC marketing and sales, and use at tradeshow events.
tAPP is a touchscreen application designed with Adobe Air to run on a wide range of computer hardware (as well as non-touchscreen devices using touch simulation), focused on dynamically adding and presenting multimedia files including high-resolution images and video.
ZapJak
ZapJak is a 3D action-racing game. In ZapJak, players take the role of a virus and hunt down and destroy computers on the Internet. The game was developed with the Unreal Development Kit, using Adobe Flash for interface elements.
I was the project manager on this project, as well as a programmer and user interface designer. The project Wiki can be found here.

Time Bomb
“Time Bomb” is a 2D platforming game drawing upon influences from classic games such as Rayman and the children’s game Pajama Sam. It was created using Adobe Flash and the ActionScript 3.0 programming language.
I was responsible for all aspects of this project from art design to engine programming. Music sampled from a track provided by Steve Davit.

Galabreaker
“Galabreaker” is an arcade-style game where the objective is to defend your ship from hordes of alien spaceships. It was created using Scirra Construct, an open-source program for creating 2D and 2.5D games.
This is a joint project between myself and Girish Balakrishnan. Music provided by Steve Davit.
