For my first free day in ages, I went to the biggest IKEA in Sweden to help a friend pick out curtains. As it is Sport Break in schools, this was the special. Hot chocolate with whipped cream and a big marshmallow and a cinnamon roll for 5 kronor! That's 76 cents or 48 pence. Better than that, both were delicious.

Currently all of my time is being spent all over the greater Stockholm area looking at plants, and learning their Latin names once I am home. All time for blogging is gone but I do manage to tweet now and again (see right) on the commute.

A yummy icy treat. This wasn't mine. I finished it too quickly. I had a stuffed groomsmen snoball which is shaved ice with chocolate and some ice cream inside.

Today, on Pentecostal Sunday, the Jesus Savior Church had their annual Holy Ghost Feast. It was a lovely family event and we brought our sandwiches to the beach. Mmmm.

Imagine my surprise when I found Anna's. But not in the usual red pack. Nope, in true American style there were about 6 flavors to choose from. We bought the chocolate mint flavor. Yum!

Of course the big portobello mushroom had my name on it. After hours of marinating it was delicious.

In Stockholm, Spring requires sheer determination. Like the white snow drops which sprout up through the snow. Sheer determination I tell you.

I Will stop wearing my winter shoes. Sure maybe there is still snow, but really, it Is April soon. Boots with fur at the tops get so very old.

I Will believe it is Spring. I will let those small eagerly chirping birds signal Spring's coming through the music playing in my headphones while standing at the bus stop, despite it being the greyest of days.

So, I accept that Spring has come. And along with our move to a new part of town and a new kollektiv tommorrow, I welcome it.
