I’m an avid #NBA fan. All fanaticism aside, you must admit, #MiamiHeat’s #27 #winning streak was impressive. They didn’t break the 33 game winning streak by the ‘72 Lakers, but I’m sure El Heat will win more championships as long they have #DwyaneWade, #ChrisBosh, #LeBronJames, Coach Spo, and the main supporting cast around. That reminds me of life itself. No matter what good thing we have going right now; it could end at anytime. Only God can tell, we have no control of our circumstances. But now the real test comes when we are climbing back to the top from ground zero. Never lose focus of the main prize. For the Heat, it’s the championship trophy. Proverbs 11:12My #40days #fasting from 2013.02.12 - 2012.03.23 ends today. People always asked why I did it, I’d always reply because I need clarity. Having this #mentalillness symptoms like #depression, #paranoia, #delusion, #selfdoubt, #selfhate, #disorientation, and #insomnia for so long is no picnic. I’m turning to the greatest force of all, God almighty, to help me. Break this #demonic stronghold. You may think I’m crazy, well I am, but I know God is real. He works through people around me. Of course there are people out there who has bigger problems than mine. After I lost my jobs, my car, my guitar and drum sticks got stolen, lost relationships, my band went on hiatus, I lost my #faith in people, I’ve been #numb, #bitter to everyone I know. I couldn’t feel #love. You should know that performing #music and being alone enjoying #art gives me pure #joy. Let’s say, you go on a nightclub or see live music or party with friends are where you let loose in your comfort zone. In my case it’s the opposite, those things make me #depressed. Being in a crowd of people and socializing suffocate me. But I’m #blessed to have friends who gave me encouragement, #hope, helped me without asking anything in return just like I would do to them. You know who you are. Even the random people who I met along the way. God is working through everyone, everything, non stop. It’s monumental to end my fast on a high note; volunteering with passionate people at Freedom and Fashion to #fightsocialinjustice, then yesterday I played music like a #maniac at my friend’s wedding jam session where I reunite with most of my friends. At the end of the night my two beloved sisters whom I haven’t seen for so long surprised me at a dinner gathering and gave me a big hug. God You are awesome.
