This research through Design methods was focused on a contemporary subculture group in London. The research question was "what is the impact of social networking on subculture and youth expression?". Besides the research method developed, the final conclusion relied upon the ethic concerns of professional practice of Graphic Design and its future.

Graduated in Graphic Design I have also completed a Master degree in Graphic Design by attending the University of the Arts London / London College of Communication, UK.
On my practice as design/visual researcher I unite concept, form and market knowledge working on strategic projects in order to build storytellings and visual narratives to products, services and brands.
Since the early part of my career I have been working along big communication projects for companies such as Interbreew AMBEV beverages, Philip Morris, Volvo, O Boticário cosmetics and Marisol fashion industry. I have also worked recently on design research projects to clients like Intelbras eletronics, Daiken elevators, HSBC and NOKIA.
Also as creative professional I took part on a wide range of advertising, packaging, editorial design and merchandising projects. In 2006 CCPR (Creative Club of Paraná State) awarded me as "the most awarded designer" of its annuary book.
Currently working at the biggest pay-tv programming company of Latin America - Globosat Network - I lead brand strategy projects for channels such as GNT, VIVA, Multishow, OFF, SporTV, Premiere, Combate, among others.

Banda Uó é o retrato da nova juventude globalizada Brasileira. Assume a colagem de referências internacionais assim como utiliza os recursos de narrativa nacionais que dispõe. Mais que isso, usa de narrativas e recursos visuais da produção cultural internacional, fotografia de moda, construções com colagem e superposição de signos como David La Chapele, Walter Van Beirendonck porém incorporando a estética e linguagem Brasileira como do cinema nacional dos 70, no melhor estilo Dona Flor e Seus dois Maridos, sem medo.
A colagem, citação e referência da gringa são subvertidos sem medo algum, num grande deboche. Tudo que os artistas dos anos 80 temiam. E eles não estão aqui para imitar. Absolutamente.
O resultado é um puta trabalho criativo original, moderno, Brasileiro na essência com todo deboche que o Powerpop exige.
