Advertising page promoting Zigzag as event communication agency, for the Festival of Festival 2010 catalogue. The claim “Dai forma al tuo evento” (“shape your event”) aims to place Zigzag within the range of event communicators, defined by clear message, personality elegance. Featured with a two pages contribution on the book Information Environments curated by Teal Triggs (LCC) and IE. “IE launched its first publication in July 2010, ‘Information Environments’ which looks back at the first two years of work undertaken by IE students and staff researchers at the University of the Arts London”.
Featured with 2 projects (Static Movements and UNSC/R) on the second edition of this very popular graphic design book, Data Flow 2, published by Gestalten. “Data Flow 2 expands the definition of contemporary information graphics. The book features new possibilities for diagrams, maps, and charts and investigates the visual and intuitive presentation of processes and data” (Gestalten).
A limited edition poster of the Blur Gigs Map artwork, signed by the band, was sold in a charity auction at Abbey Road Studios! (Sound and Vision, London, Feb 2010) Yay!

Piero is a qualified graphic designer with training and work experience in both the UK and Italy, in a wide range of sectors and media. Piero’s personal work has been published internationally and exhibited in London and Rome.
Senior Information designer at IIB and IIB Studio. Working closely with David McCandless, as part of a creative team of designers, researchers and art directors, my role as designer is to engage with data visualisation projects for research purposes as well as for clients.
Designed and ran a 2 day workshop for Digital Data Stratigy students on data visualization.
Freelance contract for inforgraphic commercial project
As part of the Practice Graphics team I worked closely with architects and the practice’s in-house graphic design team. Main roles as a designer: to produce editorially designed documents (planning submissions, client reports), illustrative work with information design elements, and realised several practice's exhibitions.
Stylorouge is an independent creative consultancy with 25 years experience in commercial media. I started my collaboration with Stylorouge as design intern in June 2009 and continued as freelance designer. I produced visual communication for the studio's clients, often music artists. Some of the names in the music business I worked for are Blur, McFly, Sharon Corr.
Zigzag is a communication company based in Rome, Italy, specialized in visual communication, marketing services and event organization. I am the sole designer of the company; I produced work from branding (Capalbio Libri, Memoria del Futuro, Capalbio Cinquanta), editorial design (Terna), and packaging.

Visiting Lecturer at London College of Communication during a collaboration between LCC and LSE about information design applications in economics ad graphic design. 1 day workshop and presentation to students.
