They ran a preview of the first pages, which were drawn soooo loooong agooooooo.
Last of my commission sale work. Then I’ve got a collaboration print to work on and it’s back to drawing comics.
I’m in a sharing mood today.
Here’s a couple of panels from my upcoming Spera short that I did for volume 2.
Well, yet another project I had cooking is dead. Well, to me at least. I’m sure someone else will draw it. I’ll most likely recycle all of these character designs eventually.
Something rad came in the mail today!
Get your copy of DOGS of Mars for $8 if you pre-order on Amazon right now!
It’s been months since this project died, so I think it’s safe enough to post a little concept art I did for it.
Not going to go into what it was, but it would have been a fun book to draw.
I did an interview for CBR about DOGS of MARS and some other stuff I’ve been up to. I also dug up some inking footage from DOM and compiled it. Sorry for the poor quality but it ends in a cute puppy scene!
I’m having a two week art sale where everything on the OOSA store is half off! This does include commissions as well.
Paul Maybury is having a HUGE sale that starts today (Friday) at 10am EST. Half off all of his art in the OOSA store, including these 4 new pieces! And if that’s not enough, Paul will also be offering commissions for only $50 (plus shipping)! But, the sale is only going to last for 2 weeks and I imagine things will go quickly. So if you want something, don’t dilly-dally.
If you’ll be in the Boston area on March 5th, consider catching the opening reception for Tak Toyoshima’s “Asian Americana” at Zuzu in Central Square! Tak is the creative director of Boston’s Weekly Dig as well as the creator of the incisive and long-running strip Secret Asian Man. Plus he’s an ace guy, so show a local creator and strong voice in the Asian American arts community your support!
Tak was one of the first guys to give me illustration work. We even did a giant painting together for some live art show years ago. I believe it’s still rolled up somewhere in the Weekly Dig office. Any ways, if you’re in the area check this out!

A project I was attached to that fizzled a few months back. I think it's safe to post it now, but I won't be able to say what it was for.
Hey, I did this for the DC Fifty-too blog for the Marvel What If? jam. If you want to see the logod version, just follow this link.

Im glad it got posted today, I haaate sitting on art because I always want to mess with it.
I did this in hopes of it being their new album cover. They're not using it, but I may not be above printing mine out and slipping it in the jewel case.
Hah, I'm still thinking in CD mode..
I drew this for Austin Books. It's their exclusive cover to the Unite and Take Over anthology.
I'm ashamed to say I traded this cover for a giant Wally Wood book.
Drew this for some friends that are making a movie and needed some art for a demon book. They will probably drop my giant signature..
Drew this for the Strange Tales party this weekend in NY. I wont be there, so you'll just have to look at this drawing and think of me.
I'm part of a new art collective Bristolwhip.
We'll be posting new art under different themes weekly.

I did this Rover commission, and thought it would be fun to reference Fantastic Planet, one of my favorite movies.
This was a commission I took on to recreate an old Daredevil cover. Took me a littler longer than I expected, but things have been pretty busy trying to get my new series wrapped up.
Here's a Page from Strange Tales II Issue 2.
I did a short story called Little Lies for it.
Pick it up, let me know what you think!
Spider-Man VS Carnage commission.
I'm available for commission, by the way..

Screen Print commission done for 5 Color Cowboy.
I have some artist proofs for sale still on my store.

Collaborated with Criterion to make a fake movie poster for a film festival. I did Roman Polanski's Repulsion.
Was asked to design a sidekick for Austin Book's new sidekick location down the street from the main store.
Did this for my friend Nathan Fox's new book Fluorescent Black from Heavy Metal.
I drew this for Free Comic Book Day over at Rogues Gallery here in good ol' Texas.
I'll be signing from 12-3ish and doing free sketches.
More info on CBR.

Also, if you get there in time, these will be available at the store as prints.
Drew this pinup for Savage Dragon. It still needs to be colored, so don't ask me when it's going to run.
brush and ink
This was also in the graphicnyc feature. I forgot to throw Nilsson in there, so I drew a separate image to through in there.

If you click the link I have a video of him performing if you want to check him out.
I drew this for my friend Finch.
characters are copyright Steven Finch
This is a pinup I did for TMNT issue 63.
It should be in stores now. Go support Turtles comics before Mirage closes their doors
