● I am a passionate architect, creative, thinker and tenacious. I strive to create architecture that touch the emotions and speak to the soul.
● I work as a Project Designer + Manager at Scholz Architects. Prior to this, I gained six years of professional experience in Mexico working as a Project Designer for one of the best architectural firms.
● I run a blog called “Paula Montes Sketchbook”, which focuses on notes and thoughts of architecture and showcases my design work and portfolio.
● I am here to connect with architects and people that are passionate about what they do as I’m always looking for interesting opportunities in life.
● My professional goals: Gain an architect’s license in USA in order to set up my own studio with full architectural services and establish a branch in Mexico.
● But more important: I love my profession, I have high expectations and nothing is impossible for me.

A few months ago I submitted one of my Catrinas to be on the cover of the Denik sketchbooks. Last week I received an e-mail from the Denik team to let me know that the journals with Carlota on the cover are for sale. The cool thing about this brand is that part of the profits goes to build schools, so yes, art can change the world.
