I have over 12 years of professional IT experience in an array of market sectors. I am an accomplished professional in IT project management and 3rd line support.
I am a confident, dedicated and motivated team player. I often lead from the front and present a clear and concise vision on delivering goals and objectives. I believe good communication skills, relevant IT solutions and a real-world understanding of how the IT/customer relationship can work together are key to successful IT business partnerships.
Over the years I have also taken on some freelance projects including IT Management consultancy, systems support for local businesses and website development providing e-commerce solutions.
In my spare time I take a keen interest in gadgets and regularly write for blogs, particularly regarding mobile devices and Android mobile development.
I am a passionate cyclist and take part in several charity events every year. In 2010 I helped raise over £3000 in a cycle ride from London to Paris.

International SOS asked me to join them for 3 months over a busy period while an office move takes place. My contract will end in March 2012.
· Ensure that the telecoms, networking and servers are secure and protected from unauthorized users.
· Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes; system performance tuning
· Analyse system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems
· Provide advice and guidance to support telecoms, networking and server projects
· Provide advice and guidance in the event that resources near full use of capacity
· Ensure that all changes to assets allocated to users are notified to the IT Administrator
· Work with the Infrastructure Team to ensure that new projects take the Production Environment into consideration and act as a ‘bridge’ between the two teams in this respect
· Implement changes to the Production Environment through Change Control processes
· Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to line management
· Liaise with external service providers and their respective support teams (Telcos, ISPs, vendors, etc.) to provide effective and efficient customer support to the business.

Leepeckgroup (previously LeepeckGreenfield Ltd) took me on to manage their IT Department whilst remaining hand-on 3rd line support.
My responsibilities were to cover internal and external assets including system builds, security, detailed problem diagnosis and resolution and adhering to strict SLAs, in addition to writing weekly and monthly reports to executive level.
