Michael Playter
My life goal is to seek clarity and light in a dark and confusing world. I am
an Plumber Gasfitter (B) class by trade and I enjoy
bettering myself in any way that I can think of. I have spent the last twelve
years training in the martial arts, and I have benifited from it
mentally, physically and philosophically. I enjoy reading books about
philosophy and battle. My favorite color is red and I like heavy metal music but I
have been caught enjoying classical music. I am married and have two
older brothers. I also enjoy discussing how myself and others view,
navigate and see the world around us.
My passion in Kung-Fu is the study of traditional wepons. I am currently working on the study of the three seconal staff, lao gar, mlong kwoon and the ti chi long form. I am an instructor in the I Ho Chuan and the traditional Lion dance. My most nottable accomplishments are the devolopment of my spear form and my double chuck form. I one day hope to be considered a true martial artist by the future practitioners of our school and our system.
