Mista Silva

A Young & Up and coming UK Artist know as MISTA SILVA born & grew up in south east of the capital London with origins from Ghana West Africa. 
Silva has always had very keen interest in music from an early age being around the sounds of UK/US Hip-Hop, Garage, Grime, Afro-beats, Hi-life & Hip-Life. He was previously part of a underground Grime Collective known as Militant Souljaz, as well as Mr Silva being one of the founding members of the collective. He developed his lyrical abilities even further while being part of the group, During his period in the collective Mr Silva worked alongside some of the Uk's Top Underground artist, which you may be familiar with. Some include Regal Players & P-Money, after being unable to progress the group split up. Mr Silva, C-don and two other friends then formed an events and entertainment group in 2008 called Fresh 2 Def Entertainments UK which consist of Two Djs, Two Artist, & Four promoters.

Over the past 2years Mr Silva has been working hard to develop and expand his profile within the UK funky and Afro beats industries. In 2010 Mista Silva was chosen to feature on KISSfm for their special show called CHOSEN ONES by one of the UKs leading UK Funky/Urban/Tribal house Dj's, DJ PIONEER. The show focused on each week selecting the BEST Talent from around the World in various genre of music Mr Silva  alongside Dj Greyman and 3 others where selected as the best and furture of UKFunky to repersent the scence with a 30min set & Interview...for mor info got to (http://djs.totalkiss.com/<wbr>2010/08/kiss-chosen-ones-<wbr>future-of-uk-funky/). 
Mista Silva was also invited to the SPLASH FESTIVAL to support Murkage Cartel alongside Bubbz in Berlin as well as Dizzie Rascal, The Streets, Kid Cudi and may more artist from around the World.

This year 2011 Mr Silva  decided to venture into the Afro-Beats market to embrace his roots, In July 2011 Mr Silva released a remix of the Ghana Smash hit 5FIVE - MUJE BAYA, Alongside fellow UK Afro-Beats Artist Flava ,Kwamz & A-Star for the Ghana Party In The Park Event and there song was certainly a winner. Gaining 40,000 views within the 1st month of its release on YouTube. Mr Silva is certainly one to watch when it comes to UK Afro-Betas and will be releasing more Afro-Beats in the future.
