Summary
I've spent the past dozen years developing, testing, and leading in dev/testing of computer software, lately with an eye toward training and mentoring.
I was the lead organizer and the first master of ceremonies for the Great Lakes Software Excellence Conference ( www.glsec.org ) in 2006, and acted as a volunteer contributor for the conference in 2007 and 2008. The conference continues to this day.
I presented a Google Tech Talk on Test Automation in their New York Office during the Google Test Automation Conference.
I served as the Lead Organizer of the Workshop on the Technical Debt Metaphor
I spent two years as a part-time instructor in Computer Science and Information Systems at Calvin College, during which I also shared a column with Chris McMahon in Software Test & Performance Magazine. I currently run an interview column in Software Test&Quality Assurance Magazine.
After spending three years working testing a best-in-class social media product for the enterprise called Socialtext, I went independent in May of 2011.
