I just watched The Yes Men Fix The World. I thought it was very good. It was about hope, making mistakes, and the state of the world today. I don't think all people would like it. Some of the movie cast capitalism in a bad light, and money is a sore subject these days. If you already agree with the ideas in this movie you'll think it's great! If not, you might get angry before you begin to appreciate the people who made this. I applaud the sheer bad ass of the Yes Men to publish this movie through torrent, even though the Chamber of Commerce is suing them to see it destroyed. I will donate to them and join their website. I think what they are doing is interesting and important.
No photos of work I did today, expect tomorrow.
My sister has pre ordered a Kobo from Borders.
It's cheap, looks cool and does everything I need in an e reader.
I wonder why no one in the blogs I read mentions it?
I made a coil cup, and a few small things today.
Now a three day weekend, cause we get Friday off.
By Monday everything will be dry and ready to fire.
On Monday I will throw two cylinders and
a third hand built cup.
Assignment is eight cups. Four functional.
Four sculptural. Three done already.
Dragon cup 1/4 sculptural.
Egret cup 1/4 functional.
Coil cup 2/4 functional.
The two cylinders I will throw Monday will be made
into an Owl cup (functional) and a Cat cup (sculptural).
The hand built one, I will think about before I sleep.
A wasp that made a home near the garage.
Some inane poetry.
Yellow and red
Dad was buzzed
Soon to be dead
Bugs were fuzzed
Sad situation
that
Larva location
It's sad that wasps are one of the many bugs
I actively dislike.
They're pretty and sleek, but the stinger and threat
of pain cancels out those positives.
