Behind the scenes - helping my sister out on the set of Champions…a short film directed by Des Hamilton.
Week 2: STILL LIFE
Here’s week 2; ‘Still Life’ (using ISO 400 and C41 film Black & White film).
Didn’t realise there was a black and white film in the camera…very annoying, seeing as I picked out the fruit for their colours! Oh well.
Shark attack, splitting heads, deathly embrace and a forgotton island…….and here’s some more things that I liked recently!
Week 1: ABSTRACTION
I’ve started an evening photography course at CSM. Here’s my first week’s homework; ‘Detail, design & texture’ (using ISO 400 and C41 film).
Next week is ‘Scale & Viewpoint’…..thinking up some ideas for that one!
Very excited about 2013….already got the pup and photography course starts tomorrow….Things are looking up!
Kevin Russ, Traveling And Paying The Bills With iPhoneography
A couple years ago I discovered Kevin Russ on Flickr. I love his portrait work and his use of natural light. I hadn’t seen much from him on Flickr in a while and just the other day I found out why. Kevin has been traveling the United States, shooting landscape photography with just his iPhone, and living off the print sales.
I must admit I am jealous of Kevin’s current life. He hops in his car, looks at a map of places he wants to go in this country, and takes off. When he gets there he photographs what he sees, predominantly landscapes and nature, and most of which he shoots on his iPhone. He is a contributor to iStockphoto as well as sells his prints on his Society 6 page. Check out his work, in my opinion it is absolutely beautiful. He also has a new flickr for his mobile photos, check it out! I think his work is a prime example of the fact that it isn’t about the camera, it’s about the photographer.
I am a Junior Producer, experienced in both Agency & Production company sides of the industry. I’ve always enjoyed working on creative projects and am dedicated to any project that I take on.

Salt TV, London based film production company specialising in film production, commericals, viral and corporate video productions across UK. I worked here first as a production assistant and then a project manager. My role was to support a team of 3 producers & 2 directors. My initial duties included preparing treatments, creating online client pages, production research, scouting locations as well as being involved in the organisation of all shoot days. I was also responsible for tape logging and sub clipping, primary editing & photography. Whilst at Salt, I produced two films; the first was a live action pitch film for Nokia, the second was a 2D /3D animation for Pepsi.
