Hello. My name is Matt Susko.
I'm from Washington, PA. I love Jesus. He's my homeboy.
I'm a DJ of art, using sampled art for digital collage, patchwork, potpourri, mash-ups, etc. Feel free to give me your honest opinion. I'd love to hear it.
I Do work with acrylics , not nearly enough for my liking either. These are made with either microsoft paint or photoshop using a collage sort of style and the end result varies on what I collage and how I do it. To get a better idea heres my artist statement
Hello my name is Matt Susko I am From Washington, Pennsylvania. I love Jesus He is my homeboy. I went to Trinity High school and two different colleges: The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and The Community College of Allegheny County have not mastered or graduated yet, mostly because I can’t seem to find a school that supports my eccentricities. I learned this art form from one of my young adult mentors; Bill “Pappy” Cook. I took the skill and ran with it, creating what you see.
I consider myself to be the D.J. (*Daedal *Jabberwock) of this Digital Collage art style. I like to take pieces of things that I appreciate, much like Run Dmc or Gang Starr sample music. I pluck things that inspire me and enter them into my own personal version of Flip Mode. More often though, I come up with my own design and mix that into my artistic formula and you get what you see here. It has taken me years to hone this patchwork, potpourri, mash up into art. Thank you for reading and feel free to give me you honest opinion I’d love to hear it . your pal -Matt Susko *Daedal- formed with art; displaying inventive skill *Jabberwock- nonsense, gibberish
Incase you missed my collaboration with Just As Good As Ezra, we sampled Toto’s Africa in a chillwave song. We chopped up the drums in the beginning and made a breakdown with the main melodies.
What do you think?
