Managing digital images for The Frick Collection’s collections management system (EmbARK), for the related Web version, and for current and future exhibitions. Responsible for delivering images for External Affairs, Curatorial, and Sales and Information staff members, often under tight publication deadlines. Convert analog assets to digital media using various scanning devices, fulfill requests for digital files from various departments.
Maintain image server by loading digital images from a variety of sources; establish and maintain metadata standards and document best practices related to digital images. Work with the Manager of Electronic Publications to create Web catalogue of digital images for staff access (approximately 100,000 images) using digital asset management software.
