So I was playing Desert Strike on the first level, the Washington DC level. I had just successfully defended a US monument and I was low on fuel. I had about 20 fuel left which is not much.
I booked it for the nearest fuel barrel, pausing every few seconds to check my fuel - it was going to be close. Just as I am tapping the directionals carefully to initiate the fuel pickup my helicopter spins swiftly to a fiery death

This was the winner for PopPhoto’s photo contest in the “travel” category. At first glance it just looks like stereotypically dramatic image. Look it over thoroughly though, and notice how disgustingly fake it is.
The shot is apparently a composite from two different days. On one day he got the seagulls the way he wanted (HINT: That’s probably just one seagull and 5 different shots), and the other day he got the lighthouse and clouds right.
Look at the colors, the edges, the lighting. This isn’t photography.Nope…and it doesn’t catch my eye either

This is right before the Trix rabbit began a downward spiral of depression - it finally sunk in that Trix are for kids.
