Luciano Coutinho

Working as Project Manager and Business Analyst on development of security and availability solutions using Linux and programming languages like Perl, Python, PHP and Shell. In 2009 I developed a new business project to manage a back office system used to manage a new SaaS based product. This project use SOAP and webservices to integrate internal systems and services with business partners. In my most recent project I was able to achieve some great results, like more focus in business needs, better organization and management, fast, more productive and better development quality allowed by a deep revision in project’s architecture. Besides, of course, a lot of new great features, from the user interface to the internal APIs.

At this role I worked as Support Team Manager, Technical and Sales Solution Consultant and specialist in Microsoft and Linux solutions (as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Red Hat Certified Engineer) building projects and solutions of security and connectivity for small, medium and large networks. In planning and deployment of security solutions using Trend Micro, Computer Associates, and HP products as antivirus, backup and storage solutions besides own Interage products. In this time I got Microsoft and Red Hat Certifications, besides other acomplishments. From 2003 to 2004 I worked on the project of Hospital Unimed Nordeste in Caxias do Sul, where I did the definition of datacenter technical scope for Unimed, specifying the servers and services necessary for business needs. Besides assisting in the planning I was the responsible for build the network topology and implementing the structure of servers and services including file and print services, firewalls, proxies, collaboration and directory services (Active Directory), and set up the clusters (Windows and Linux). Finally help the Unimed IT team to build a corporate security policy for entire company. In 2007 I begin to get involved on Interage's development projects.

I worked as support analyst in network security and services. Set up and support of operating systems (FreeBSD, HP-UX, SCO, Windows Server and Linux) and network services as mail services, directory services, file and print services, IDS/IPS, proxies, firewalls, security policies, authentication services, advanced routing (using Cisco, 3Com and Cyclades routers) among others. At this role also perform security services as security consultant.
