It takes 13 fire engines full of water to create one burger!......... and a veggie burger only needs a small paddling pools worth.

Cut down on your meats and cut down on harmfull gasses, waste water, food miles and much, much more!

Why not try "Meat Free Monday"?

Wow, make your own laundry detergent!

You will need:

1 bar of eco friendly soap (e.g. vegetable oil)
1/2 cup of borax
1/2 cup of baking soda

Simply grate the soap and add the rest....... et voila!

Every day hundreds of animals die from mistaking our litter for food, or by getting trapped inside some. If everyone picked up one peice of litter per day the world would be a much nicer place!!!!:)

It is a little known fact that doing just one google search uses the same amount of power as boiling two cups of tea. Strangely alot of this energy is used lighting up the screen. To cut down on this try using blackle search or black google instead.

Saving the world comes in many forms and one of my favourites is morsbagging. "morsbags" are a great organisation that hand makes bags out of scrap materials then hands them out to unsuspecting shoppers outside suppermarkets to be used again and again and again and again.....

If you would like to make a bag or join morsbags please visit www.morsbags.com
