Am officially 18! :) And upon turning 18, I started work at the Switch store on campus. It was boring but hey, I’m like getting paid for doing nothing so, yay?

Right, a lot has happened since the last update. Spent election weekend over at my aunt’s; was really great to be able to stay in a nice home for a change. So sad over the outcome of GE13 tho! Also, went to The Sun’s MAPCU scholarship interview on Thursday and had to miss my flight back to Penang. I think the interview went well? Hoping for the best! Otherwise, idk, might have to find other ways for more side income.

After that, got a bus and went back to Penang!! Managed to catch up with Covees on Sat. Had lunch at Il Bacaro, a Venetian Restaurant at Campbell House and then dessert at La Vanille Pastry.

On Sunday (aka my birthday :P), Keshia, Vann, Ai Leen and Sasha picked me up and we went to Sushi Zento at Precinct 10 for lunch. Then I flew back here late evening and, yeah. :(

Plus of course, my birthday was also Mothers’ Day! This happens a lot. It was pretty sad when I was younger, ‘cos I’ll have parties and then everyone will be like “Oh I can’t come ‘cos I have to go celebrate Mothers’ Day”, lol. But yeah. Happy Mothers’ Day mummy! I love you! Xoxo

Week 4, done! Can’t believe it’s been a month! But at the same time I can’t believe it’s only been a month. It’s one of those things where it feels as though it happened just yesterday, but also seem like it’s been ages, you feel me? No? Okay.

Wazzup wit da title, says you. Oh no biggie, just been freezing my ass off. I could wear 3 layers and still be cold ngl. Or maybe I’m just dying from lack of nutrients. It’s just rain, oh glorious rain, every day and I love the rain; but not here, no. It always rain at the most convenient time, aka the time when I have to transport my ass from college back here to the student house, with my feet. Nvm that I’ll be drenched by the time I’m home, it’s also super loud and I can’t listen to music or watch my shows ‘cos IT’S REALLY LOUD (fuck you, awning).

So. GE13 this Sunday. I’m scared, tbh. Scared of what’s going to happen, either way. The sis’ become crazy fanatic. Haven’t had proper conversations with her because all she says to me, ever, is “Ubah!”. #NotExaggerating

So like, so like, I got to watch Iron Man 3 today and it was ABSOLUTELY FANTABULOUS! Finally a movie that didn’t bore me!

You have no idea how excited I was! I haven’t went to the movies fully intending to watch a certain movie on that particular day since The Amazing Spiderman. Yes, I’m serious. Yes, I know that’s like a year ago. All the movies I’d watched were because I had nothing better to do. Oh my god now I can’t wait for Thor 2; The Dark World asdlkajdla.

Took a cab from college to the station, then a bus from the station to Mid Valley to meet up with Eunice on Wednesday. Am mastering public transportation oh yeah. B)

Also, my sleep is seriously fucked up. My stupid brain keeps waking me up around 6 (sometimes earlier) daily so I’m like forever mega sleepy. Gah. My head feels like it’s gonna explode all the time.

Am back in KL! Already missing Penang. I can’t sleep well because I have too much dilemmas. Whatever it is, I reallyyyy wish I have a better place to stay. :C

Right so I went back the previous week to settle some PTPTN loan stuff. It was a last-minute trip and I didn’t actually do anything as I came back on Sunday morning. Then got through the week settling in and getting used to college life. Managed to hang out with the girls on Thursday during the 3-hour break.

Then I went back to Penang again after college on Thurs following Mo Sin’s car. Chilled with ma homies on Friday at Sushi King and got to have free sushi *coughyoudon’twannaknowcough*. After, the fam wanted to go “shopping” at Queens but it ended up being a birthday surprise, one month in advance! Dahell right! One month! But it was because the bro was back and won’t be around during my actual birthday.

Went cycling around town on Sunday! Of course I didn’t actually cycle since I can’t… cycle… *shifty eyes* So we rented a twin bicycle and I shared mine with the bro. Didn’t even have to pedal for it to move hahaha!

Am back and blogging from the student house. Haven’t had enough sleep for what seems like forever and yet I couldn’t sleep in even though I only have afternoon classes today. :( I want to move out, halpppp.

Hola amigos! Wow okay, where to start. Right, so I came down on Friday and checked into my room on Sat. Spent the weekend shopping for everything and cleaning my room before officially moving in on Sunday night.

Not too shabby eh? But excuse the mis-matched curtains. I’ve asked them to give me new ones so these will do for now.

Oh, before that, met up with the cousin and friends at One Utama on Sun afternoon whom were there to see Sammi Cheng. Since I was there, why pass up the chance to see a celeb? So we waited for her to arrive and got to catch a glimpse of her.

Then Monday was orientation. Sat with Su Vien and Amanda and so chun they were also doing Mass Comm! 8D After that we separated as we had to get into groups assigned and I was in Team Rabbit. Was looking at the orientation album on FB before realising every other group had group photos taken except us?? Why so sad wan. Ah wells. Orientation wasn’t as bad as I expected, at least.

I’d met most of my housemates by then but haven’t really talked much to them. So Alanna came to my room and talked for a bit when all of a sudden…… A FREAKING BLACK-OUT HAPPENED. We checked the power box and nothing was tripped and we all proceeded to flip the fuck out. In the end we bunked at a male student house’s living room just a couple houses down. There was no air-con in the living area and freaking mosquitoes everywhere!

Zombied into second day of orientation. Thank god it was short and we got to go back around 1. But thanks to the ~efficiency~ of the accommodation department, I had to wait ’til around 3 before I could actually get home. -____- Looong story so, yeah.

On Wednesday, our earliest class hasn’t started so the next one was at 10. Went there and our lecturer talked for about 30 mins and that’s it. LOL. So instead of going home, we decided to go to Tropicana City Mall. It was quite a long walk!

Welp, going to class later and then getting a bus back to Penang at 5.30PM. Why? It’s another long story and I’m pissed at how “convenient” and “helpful” and “informative” everything is, urghhhhh. Kthnxbai.

Leaving for KL tomorrow. I am so going to miss Penang and my current lifestyle with zero responsibilities! T___T

So these two weeks at my cousin’s have been tiring ‘cos I’d had to drive around a lot and it doesn’t help that Cheng Beng season cause massive traffic jams everywhere! But other than that and having to do all the domestics myself, it’d been major fun.

Had a date with Keshia ystd and also went to USM to catch the re-stage of Jane The Musical. Okay tbh I only went to see Vann but it was really funny this time around. Love Mrs. Rochester and her bodyguards heh.

Welp I guess that’s it. Next time you hear from me will be from KL. Wish me luck!

Oh my. What a week! Been busy packing and moving the whole of last week and pretty much camped in my sis’ room which was emptied of furniture. Then we moved into my cousin’s on Monday and didn’t even have time to settle in because on Tues was her pre-wedding photoshoot which took literally the entire day.

Gah, pretty much hadn’t had time to use the Internet for more than half an hour at a time. A lot of things still needs to be done before I leave for KL so, blargh.

Straight A’s was all I really cared for so am really grateful that my ~efforts~ paid off. I’m totally okay with the A- for Physics. But, call me greedy or unappreciative, I’m super bummed with my A for Art. It’s Art after all, an extra, and everyone else got their A+ so I’m just disappointed with that. I don’t understand whyyyy. Ah wells. :(

A huge congrats to my baby Keshia and her straight A+! Woooooo! *clap clap* And basically congrats to everyone of us. We all survived the hell that was SPM!

Went to Gurney after. Had lunch together then the others went for karaoke while me, Ediie, Kish and Becky watched The Last Exorcism Part II. It was… stupid. Perhaps I didn’t get it because I didn’t watch the first movie, but it was still boring. Seriously, is it just me or is everything seriously boring these days!

Today I went for my medical check-up for National Service. I peed in a cup for the first time ever. Hahaha, tmi? While waiting for the results for our urine test, the tv was showing Dora the Explorer in BM dub. AND EVERYONE IN THE ROOM WATCHED IT ANYWAY LOL. In the end…

Heh, I’m a terrible citizen unable to report to duty.

House renovation starting soon. I have 2 days to clear my room and don’t even know where to start. Will be moving to my cousin’s house next week and staying until I go to KL, so you could say I’m officially moving out next week. Omgggg I don’t wanna go to college fml! T___T

Been wanting a Covees cheong-k session for months, so we finally went to Red Box yesterday. Thank god I have Sasha to teman me in rocking out. K-Pop bores me lah, don’t know why we bother doing this, we all bore each other. Afterwards we went to The Library at Straits Quay to chillax. Here, have some pics.

It was sooo boring imho and Ediie fell asleep lol. The story’s too slow and flat. When it ended I was basically like, wait what, that’s it? I was half-expecting Theodora to come back for revenge for Evanora, then come back to her senses because of her love for Oz and become good again, or something of the sort but, eh. And yes fine, I only watched it because of Mila Kunis, heheh.

It’s been almost 3 months, but Number Three of Conventional Weapons by My Chemical Romance still speaks to me on so many levels. The lyrics, the emotion, the music… everything. Definitely two of my fave MCR songs of all time.
