It was an awesome day at American Dojo Karate in Scranton Saturday, May 5th. Master Bridget Morrissey and Master Stephanie Sawchak hosted my Sandokan Seminar for a few hours of hands on action. The group of students were energetic and excited and I think we all had a lot of fun! Everybody possessed an excellent technique and determination that comes from their training at American Dojo Karate and their instructors there. I'm really looking forward to teaching a Sandokan Seminar on Knife and Stick fighting on May 5th, 2012 at American Dojo Karate (www.americandojokarate.com) in Scranton, PA hosted by Master Bridget Morrissey. I lead a very interactive seminar on the Sandokan Martial Arts System assisted by Sempei Matt Van Horn. It will consist of footwork, techniques and positioning in knife as well as stick fighting. April 29th will be a very exciting day. The first Dragon dance team scheduled practice of 2012 will be held at Dr. John Lee's Martial and Healing Arts Academy at 5 Scott Street, Riverside, NJ. The Dragon Dance is a very old Chinese tradition with a lot of meaning. Dr. Lee has been gathering his team for Dragon Dances for a number of years and the team has performed shows and gatherings and universities including at Chinese New Years celebrations in Philadelphia.
