Lawrence Swiader has spent his career studying the intersection of technology, media, education, and how it can better people’s lives. Currently, as Senior Director of Digital Media at The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy he is attempting to change behavior through the innovative use of social media, games, video, mobile devices, and the Web.
For ten years before that, he used technology as a tool to teach about
the history of the Holocaust and to motivate people to act to end
contemporary genocide. Whatever the digital intervention, measurement of behavior change and
learning is essential and an important part of Lawrence's work.
For real, though, it’s a game we made, it’s fun to play, and it supports Bedsider.

On a painted sky
Where the clouds are hung
For the poet’s eye.” — Neil Diamond, Be from Jonathan Livingston Seagull. It was so nice to see light in the sky on my walk home tonight.
