Intern & Founding Contributor / GameChangers Institute
One of eleven student leaders nationwide chosen to be a founding contributor to GameChangers Institute, a social enterprise founded by social entrepreneur Andrew Hewitt that ranks the world’s top purpose-driven organizations.
The GameChangers 500 list is a bold upgrade to the “Fortune 500” standard of success. Rather than profiling companies based on revenue alone, the GameChangers 500 profiles organizations that are reinventing the world and redefining the rules of business around fun, fulfillment and fairness to all life. If the Fortune 500 was the benchmark for success in the 20th Century, the intention is for the GameChangers 500 to become that benchmark for the 21st Century. And as a result, leave the next generation aspiring to join a new breed of heart-centered organizations that are not just good at making money but are also good at making the world a better place.
• Collaborated with colleague on generating a Blue Ocean Strategy for future recruitment at GameChangers Institute • Art direction advice and assistance for promotional website under the direction of the Creative Director • Assisted in generating a growing database of contacts • Engaged with contacts to vet and build a GameChangers 500 list.

Women Students’ Representative / Vancouver Island University Students' Union
As the Women Students' Representative, I was responsible for the Students' Union Equality Resource Centre, and for organizing events that help educate students and the community about issues of inequality. I ensured that women students are represented in the decision-making structures of the Students' Union and organize events, services, and advocacy for women students at Vancouver Island University.
The most important binding decisions of the Students’ Union are the ones made by its members (Vancouver Island University Students) in referenda, general meetings and elections. These decisions determine who the elected members of the Students’ Union Board of Directors are. The Board is responsible for prioritizing the activities and operations of the Union throughout the year.
Events organized were: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, National Day of Remembrance and Action of Violence Against Women, Eating Disorder Awareness Week, and Stolen Sisters Memorial March.
