Kirk has a passion for visual storytelling, plain and simple. Using all the latest creative tools available he has made a name for himself as one of Canada's premiere cinematographers having won 3 Canadian Society of Cinematography awards and 7 RTDNA awards. He is the only person in Canada to win the Best Creative Use of Video (Network) Award from the RTDNA 3 years in a row. He has also brought home a Gemini award and all in the last 6 years.
Kirk has worked in news shops from coast to coast and for every major commercial news outlet in Canada and has recently pioneered new shooting techniques with Nikon DSLR's for Global Television's investigative news program, "16x9".

Hey , just got back from Henry's Exposure Show in O-town... that's Ottawa for those outside of the Great White North :)
Had the best time with the Sophie and Sandra from Nanuk and picked up the new 940
Now, I don't want to brag but, I ran into the guys from Sennheiser and couldn't resist picking up one of their new 600's to see how she looked on my Shape rig ... whaddya think?
