The Ark is a print-only weekly publication serving the towns of Tiburon, Belvedere and Strawberry on the Tiburon Peninsula in Marin County, part of California's San Francisco Bay Area.
• Oversee all editorial content, written and visual, which includes developing and assigning stories and photos, developmental editing, copy editing, photo editing, headline and caption writing, and dummying the design of each issue.
• Set and manage standards for development and performance of more than 30 staff/contributors.
• Develop editorial vision and focus of print product, from general content to modernization of design.
• Develop emerging strategies for online and social media presences and digital publication.
• Work with publisher on strategic and operational planning, along with development and management of publication budget.

• Assistant editor of the production desk, which handles copy editing and pagination for news and lifestyles
• Design chief, responsible for establishing and managing the overall look and cohesiveness of the daily editorial product and special packages. Includes daily design of front page.
• Online and social media editor, responsible for packaging and managing editorial content online, as well as establishing, managing and monitoring presences on Twitter, Facebook and other emerging outlets. Includes frequent community interaction and building rapport through social media.
• Newsroom Macintosh publication systems tech.
