is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. As a guitarist, drummer, bassist, and keyboardist, he draws inspiration from a variety of styles, including jazz, noise, shoegaze, dream pop, folk/Americana, Brazilian music, psychedelia, classical music, and garden
variety pop and rock.
While living in Los Angeles, CA, he worked with vocalist/guitarist
Gabrielle Stein and an early incarnation of
Brain Vacation. Since relocating to New England, he has contributed guitar work to
Time Police and has served as the live drummer of
The Meat Burglars. He has also performed in the
official demo video for the
Alesis SamplePad.
He is currently working on music for an original project.
His film scores can be heard in A Day As Holly's Kids and My Friends Do Not Move, short films directed by Judy Phu. Currently, he is working on music for her forthcoming feature-length film, The Lovely Rejects.
While
studying music theory and composition at the University of Pennsylvania,
his piece, Violin Duo, was awarded the David Halstead Music Prize for Best
Original Composition.
