- Here is a Nyaruko-san preview from Momocon. I didn't stay at the con long due to my poor feet swelling. I ended up going and buying new (larger) shoes!
- Planning on attending Momocon next week. Anyone else going? We needed to swing by IKEA one more time before the baby (surprise, everyone!) is born so we figure why not go one last con before she's here! I have most of the pieces of my costume ready, I just need to finish up some details. Hope to see you there!

- Back from Animazement so here is a little preview of Serah! This costume was extremely hot to wear and not particularly comfortable. Special props to my husband for making the knee pads in a fashion that I could still walk while wearing them!
- As of right now, these are the costumes I am debating on taking to AZ. The top row are for sure, the bottom row are possibilities. I haven't decided what I am wearing each day. Will update as soon as I know!
- Here is a little progress on my Serah costume. These sleeves have given me no end of grief! Now to line them and attach them to the dress!
- I am vaguely considering doing this cosplay for Animazement. I love me some white mage outfits and pink! I already have a wig. :D

One time I was sitting in Sarah’s backseat of her car when she was telling a very lively story about how bad she hates it when people do not know how to properly use a four-way stop. I mean, it REALLY makes her mad and she was going on and on about these drivers. During the middle of this rant…. she blows right through a four way stop by missing her turn to stop. Apparently she hates drivers like herself. XD

I am actually nearly certain you picked one of the only names I have never encountered a person with. I did know a Patrick in high school. He was a friend of my boyfriend at the time from the town he previously lived in. Patrick was one crazy fashioned guy. He had this pair of black pants that were apparently not fashionable enough and he, with his mad sewing skills, turned them into giant flare leg pants with zebra stripe inserts on both sides. He topped it off with giant platform boots. He came to a marching band performance like that once and all the ladies were like ‘oh man he’s so hot, but those pants … uh….’

What I like is when people are so absolutely bewildered and in shock over the fact that for Final Fantasy X’s 10th anniversary, Square Enix chose to give an HD touch up to Final Fantasy X. But it’s completely understandable. I mean, seriously? For Final Fantasy X’s 10th anniversary, they remaster Final Fantasy X?

Like wow, what a ludicrous idea. Who would even do that?
Square Enix.
Why would anyone even do that?
Because Square Enix. Wow.
Who are they even kidding, remaking Final Fantasy VII is a far more lucrative and popular idea. Why aren’t more people up in arms about this? We should make a freakin’ Kickstarter to fund the money for a VII remake ourselves. Come on, Square Enix. Remake Final Fantasy VII. For Final Fantasy X’s 10th anniversary. Think of all the money you’re missing out on.
You know, even though we’re only a fandom that has a horrid reputation for whining about not getting what we want. And when we finally do get what we want, we waste no time at tearing it to shreds.
Even though Final Fantasy VII had its own 10th and 15th anniversary celebrations. Square Enix should remake Final Fantasy VII every time a title in the series gets another year older. Theathrythm turns one this year. Square Enix should show they really care by remaking Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy XIII came out in 2009. It’s turning four this year. That means four remakes of Final Fantasy VII to celebrate Final Fantasy XIII’s fourth anniversary. Four VII remakes for you XIII, you go XIII.
Because why the fuck not.

I’m Kaurin, naturally, usually back in the mage line and my husband is Ukifune. Mardock and Vaermina are still two of my good friends. Known Vaer for nearly 8 years now. Today we are heading down to Atlanta to go to Momocon, IKEA, and to eat delicious Asian food we cannot get here in the Nashville area. Nashville is terrible for authentic Asian food and it makes us very sad. So excited for some dim sum and tea!
Going to be cosplaying as Nyaruko from Haiyore! Nyaroko-san as her pregnant fantasy mental image. It’s very rare to see an anime character depicted as pregnant much less a character I (and Matt!) like. He’s a big Nyaruko fan so I’m finally cosplaying a character who he really likes. XD
Baby is at 32 weeks as of Monday. Everything seems to be going well. My back is killing me and I can’t breathe quite a good deal of the time but hey, so long as the baby is fine, right? :3

Had my baby shower yesterday. It was quite lovely and had pretty good attendance! I think we have just about everything major that we need besides having her room done! 7 to 10 weeks to go…

Today a travesty occurred. We went, per usual, to get some fountain soda refills (Pepsi for Matty and Dr P for me) and I had a sip or two of mine before going to take a bath. While I’m bathing, Matty is drinking his and ultimately ends up consuming half of it. I sit down at my compy after the bath and take a big drink of my delicious Dr Pepper just to gag and find out it is Pepsi. Matty had drank nearly all my Dr Pepper by this point and all that was left was a watery ice mix. ;____; He said he thought it tasted funny and my pregnant self made internal creyz.

Went to our first educated child birth class. Labor can be a very fascinating thing. It is a series of 4 classes. The next one is next week.

Had a good Valentine’s Day with Matty. I got him a double edge razor because he wants to phase out disposable razors to save money and a Feel So Moon shirt like from the Space Brothers PV. He got me some lipstick I’d been hinting about, a hedgehog scarf and shirt (for post-pregnancy), and a stuffed hedgehog.
We went out and ate at Cheeburger Cheeburger and used our Groupon. The shakes were delicious and I regret nothing. Then we went to Whole Foods as per tradition and got 2 dozen roses for $19.99. They are very lovely. :D

I need to find a cute, inexpensive, yet nice rug for Bina’s room. This is proving very difficult.

Today Matt started making me a rack for all my nail polish. Right now it’s haphazardly placed in a bin and very difficult to find what you need. He also put up new shelf holders in Bina’s room that will hold a closet rod. I am crafting a cute closet rod out of a PVC pipe (cosplay reject item) and fabric. It’s drying right now, but I think it looks pretty cute!
