I am a software engineer who always wanted to change the world.
One day I realized after being working a couple months in a engineer driven software project that I hated what I was doing. So I decided to start building projects that would really improve peoples lives and not only help them but make them happier. I felt in love with the web. It was clear to me I needed to make a change. The change was done and monoku was born. Me and David started focusing on web applications and started focusing on being a user centered software house.
So far it's been almost 3 years and I am so happy with what I do right now. Millions of people have used our web sites and web applications and it's great to hear from them saying not only they like what we do, but they love it. (Some people hate it too, but that's the way great things work)
Right now I'm charge of leading monoku... I also develop in Django. I love Python. I really do. I love to help other companies that are just starting so they can avoid the same mistakes we've done so if you ever want to chat about an idea you have, you are more than welcome, I hope I can help a little.
For a year now we've been also working on monomi.co, an online stores platform that we launched on december 2012. We hope it will change the level of complexity people in latin america has to suffer in order to create an online store :)
