Profile

Freelance Sound Designer and Composer
Computer Games | Winnipeg, Canada Area, CA

Summary

Sound designer for all sorts of projects! Animations, films, video games, anything that needs it. I have a personal interest in designing robotic and industrial sounds, reverse-engineering existing sounds using new methods, and I'm very interested in manipulating recorded samples to get something completely different - making a nice lush rainfall out of harsh metallic impacts, for example.

I'm currently researching HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) processing methods - making audio sound like it's right in front of you while wearing headphones. It's a dream of mine to make a game someday that has as high of a priority on sound as it does on visuals.
Specialties: Reverse engineering of existing sounds and effects, industrial and robotic sfx, voice processing, field recording
