Spent about 8 hours today working on my friend Erin’s wedding photos.  Finally finished.  Usually I do the photos within a month of the wedding, but I’ve been so busy.  Tomorrow I’ll work on my friend Antonette’s wedding photos.  These are a few of the 100’s from Erin’s wedding.

what a terrific photo!

Merry Christmas - 12/24/2010 - photo by Will Yurman

I was at an afternoon mass at St. John of Rochester in Fairport this afternoon. The church has a small glassed in chapel off to the side and it filled with people during the standing room only service.

I kept noticing Audrey Wendtland through the glass, and made this photo of her, hands raised as she copied the adults around her.

I liked the way the reflection through the glass gave the photo all sorts of layers around Audrey.

If you are not in the xmas spirit yet, this song should help!

Good stuff!! @bitpakkit: “This is my winter song…but you can have it.”

In honor of the fact that it is in fact cold outside! “Baby It’s Cold Outside” Willie Nelson w/Norah Jones.

This used to be in our jukebox (we had one in my childhood home). Linda Ronstadt’s band before she went solo. Great song.

I am just wrapping up week 5 of South Beach Diet.  I’ve lost about 10 pounds so far.  Although I feel I should have lost more, my doctor has told  me that my battle with POF includes difficulty losing weight… I am sticking with it.  Even if I don’t lose all the weight I’ve gained, at least I feel a bit healthier than I did last month.  Stay tuned…

My favorite watch, which was a birthday present from my folks last year, died on the plane on the way to SXSW.  That was on March 12th.  My birthday is later this month, so I thought it was within reason that the battery died after a year.  But when I took it to get a new battery this past weekend I was surprised to learn the battery was fine.  Poop.  So I need to take it back to the store with the assumption the warranty still covers it.  Well of course I just dug up the receipt, which I miraculously kept, and it turns out they bought it on 3/19.  So it died just short of a year, but I won’t be bringing it in til 4/6 (over a year).  Will they believe me?  Fossil website says 11 year limited warranty.  Wish me luck.  J

Walked around the neighborhood this morning and took a few shots. It's a real workout walking through snow that is mid thigh high.
