Motto: Real artists ship.
I’ve worked at the intersection of software engineering, product development, and entrepreneurship. I have a passion for technology and storytelling, and love identifying trends, formulating and validating hypotheses with data, and evaluating business models.
I’m building a vintage and craft marketplace at Etsy. I advise for startups that are creating scalable solutions that empower consumers, and I write on topics related to technology trends, mobile web, digital media, entrepreneurship, and women. Thought leadership is featured in publications including Forbes, The Huffington Post, and Women 2.0.
Prior to Etsy, I co-founded a technology transportation company in New York and led the organization through product development and market validation. Prior to that, I started my career, in finance, with a focus on corporate finance, real estate, alternative investments, and macroeconomic analysis and forecasting, and in science, with a research grant from the American Heart Association.
