Have overseen breaking news, gossip, features, reports and interviews for a number of years – starting at the age of 14. I've contributed to the website growing into the second largest Blackpool fans' website on the internet. Able to secure high profile interviews with the Chairman Karl Oyston, President Valeri Belokon, past players, the club secretary Matt Williams, as well as celebrities such as Mark Watson on a regular basis.
Transfer deadline day is where I'm able to showcase my talents - providing supporters with breaking news sourced from a number of areas (including agents), and being first to release news on countless occasions.
I also headed a campaign for former England captain Jimmy Armfield to be knighted, which has since seen him awarded a CBE.
Voted in the top 10 unofficial football writers by the Football Pools' fanzine awards in 2009 and nominated for the same award in 2008. Both years also nominated for 'Best Editor'.

Online, I wrote an 800 word feature on the Championship playoff final (http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/may/20/blackpool-championship-play-off-final) and an interview with former Everton striker Eamonn O'Keefe.
The first of two week stints at the Blackpool Gazette involved two back-page lead stories and a full-page match preview.
Repeated with similar results in December 2009.
