I am a freelance experienced linguist, localizer, QA tester, and a language geek!
I am a communication specialist and believe translating is not only
converting texts from one language to another. I can provide you with
certain communication tips and useful IT advice, help you adapt your
communications to the Spanish-speaking market and culture, and ensure
uniformity of language (coherence and cohesion) across all your
documents.
An open source enthusiast, I believe the Web should remain a public resource open and accessible to all.
That's why I work as an audiovisual translator, localizer, transcreator, editor and QA tester for Mozilla Hispano, the
Spanish-speaking Mozilla community. I help localize apps, campaigns and
products web pages, support documentation for both users and
developers, newsletters, etc., and file localization bugs, write posts
for the community blog, subtitle videos for YouTube channel, manage some of the community's social
networks...
I love literature, films, music, photography, gardening, learning new things... and
cooking delicious cakes! I am
self-starter, motivated, dedicated, organized, methodical and a problem
solver, and have a very good eye for details.
I feel a passion for Beauty, Truth, Justice, Honesty.
My next challenge is to learn how to code with Codeacademy.
