‘1904’ by The Tallest Man On Earth
It doesn’t get much better than this. ‘The Tallest Man On Earth’ never disappoints, well he might if you think he’s actually the tallest man on earth.
What I’m Listening To:
The End
Last month I released my 24th and what will be my final WILT compilation. I have been releasing these compilations for two years now and I have come to the conclusion that it is time that I end what has been a long but fruitful project.
I would like to thank every one of you that downloaded any one of my compilations and I sincerely hope I have managed to introduce you to some great artists and music that you have come to love as much as I have.
A full collection of every compilation, including download and track listing can be found here.
It should be known that I am writing this at 12:38 on the morning that I have to deliver a presentation on what I have been doing over the past 8 weeks of university. Which honestly, is little to nothing. So I must somewhat conjure up a portfolio of work that will act as evidence of this supposed work that I have meant to have done.
Although it is no surprise to me that I am procrastinating even further by blogging about me procrastinating, I still feel like this is something that I should have grown out of at the ripe age of 22. It’s easy to tell oneself in such a predicament, or even after the fact, that next time will be different. Next time you will do your work at the appropriate time, with appropriate consistency and frequency. But I have long since stopped telling that blatant lie and accepted that I am a chronic procrastinator.
I’m not under any illusion that I can be type cast into anything other than the ‘Lazy College Senior’ meme. My lack of productivity is inherent to who I am as a person, and who am I to try change that. If I were even the slightly bit productive, this self indulgent post wouldn’t have even been conceived, and you wouldn’t have wasted a minute of your life reading my poorly penned ramblings. But honestly, if you made it this far you most likely too are procrastinating from some mundane task. So who are you to complain?
‘You Wish You Were Red’ by Trailer Trash Tracys
Caught this beautiful track on the latest episode of ‘The Killing’. It is really something else.
Clearly that is a surprised Eskimo who uses his facial hair to effectively insulate his hood.
He’s surprised because his facial hair is actually doing a remarkable job of keeping his head warm, contrary to what his friend Keith might have suggested.
Your English… not so much.
But seriously, the love’s much appreciated. I have been tossing up the idea recently to finish compiling WILT’s. I’ve been doing it for two years now.

Are You A Facebook Creep?
This is comedic gold. It’s also not appropriate to watch at work or if you have a tame sense of humour.
‘Thats Whats Up’ by Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros
Glad the gang is back. My ears have missed you.
‘Words’ by Givers (feat. Theophilus London)
Live at The Switch
One of the greatest things in the world. If you don’t know about ‘Givers’ yet, you better. They’re going to be huge.
Not many artists get so immersed in their own music as ‘Givers’ do, and they look like they’re having a fantastic time.
Tired & Together
Future Bing | 31st of March, 2012
A beautiful, somber but honest video of Bing and friends trying to put on a brave face after the recent passing of their good friend and fellow YouTuber Edd Gould.
When Chris Bingham first started his Past Bing/Future Bing project, I knew some brilliant moments would come out of it. But I never expected anything like this. Something so raw and genuine is hard to come by these days. I certainly don’t envy their situation, and I can only hope I would be so brave if I were to face a similar situation.
AdBlock Vs. Cats
So apparently AdBlock now replaces adverts with pictures of cats. This is the greatest technological advancement to happen in the past decade.
Come to my world of text and write something vulgar.
Or write something nice, like a poem.
There is an epidemic plaguing the fairer sex as of the past year. It has had a hugely detrimental effect on the attractiveness of affected females. It has even gone as far as to making affected females seem unattractive in the process. This phenomenon can only be attested to that of ‘Duck Face’.
Forget Kony 2012, we need a new campaign… Duck Face 2012.
For those of you that have been fortunate to have not been subjected to the disturbing trend, it basically consists of the individual (or god forbid, group) pulling an exaggerated pout, which draws remarkable comical similarities to that of a ducks face.
Somewhere over the past year certain females have associated ‘Duck Face’ with attractiveness, which honestly completely perplexes me. For not only is ‘Duck Face’ completely unattractive, but it also makes the individual look incredibly stupid. They might as well be pulling a silly face, because there is little to no difference. The worst part about this whole situation is that the supporters of ‘Duck Face’ seem to believe that it makes them more attractive.
If you are a female who has once upon a time utilized the horrendous ‘Duck Face’, let it be known from a male who is a huge fan of women and the female figure, that it is by no means attractive in any way. In fact, I find ‘Duck Face’ a HUGE turn off. But what really cuts me up is the fact that the horrendous ‘Duck Face’ is thieving beautiful smiles from ladies everywhere.
A lady’s smile is undoubtedly the most attractive aesthetic of the fairer sex, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise (not that anyone would). And to think that anyone would intentionally choose ‘Duck Face’ over a beautiful smile disturbs me greatly. Because as much as one would like to think, ‘Duck Face’ ain’t doing you any favours, if anything you’re shooting yourself in the foot (and the mouth).
So this year, let us debunk the misconception that an exaggerated pout is anything to be desired. It is 2012, as a nation, nay as a race we should be well beyond the terrors of ‘Duck Face’, don’t become a statistic.
‘There Are Listed Buildings’ by Los Campesinos!
Hands down, the theme song of my life.
We are but two atheists in lust, you know we’ve got to make our own luck.
There are listed buildings, and woe betide your listed heart.
I think I’d do it for love if it were not for the money, I’ll take any scraps that you can give.
P.S. Oh yeah, I turned 22 today.
